Hmmm. It suffers a bit from the flash animation and doesn't end up looking like any previous animated super-hero show. I'm not quite sure what style they're going for: Super Friends; '60s or '70s Filmation? I'm leaning more toward the Filmation style.

TTGcrew (someone or several on the crew has an account at Wikia) confirmed "Although the Titans' designs are more from the 80s, the look and feel of the animation are reminiscent of the 1967 Filmation DC hero cartoons (Justice League of America, Teen Titans, etc)."

Yeah if you look at the original Teen Titans intro it's pretty clear what they're trying to homage here.

It's a mash up of style since though it's obvious the style of animation and pacing is a homage to the 1966 Filmation era, the look has to be more from the 80's since heck Cyborg, Raven and Starfire weren't even created until the 80's. As yeah even Robin wasn't originally on the animated Teen Titans. He was one of the founding members in the comics but obviously they wanted to use Robin more for strictly Batman related stuff at the time. This will probably PO some fans hoping this would of been a "take that" at the 2003 series but eh maybe the team is holding off on doing that until next season and wanted to pay homage to the fact the 1960's series is now in it's golden anniversary. Yeah BTAS may be in it's silver but the first real animated series of Teen Titans and Justice League are twice that.

The crew is damned if they do, damned if they don't at this point.

As a matter of fact, Robin couldn't appear in Filmation's Teen Titans cartoons because its animated Batman show was on a different network. And I have to admit that those old shorts were no better than any of the other DC Comics-based cartoons that Filmation was producing at that time. It is a shame that the New Teen Titans animated series never got off the ground beyond the anti-drug promo that was made (ironically, also without Robin).

9/12: Teen Titans Go! is part of LEGO Dimension's Wave 9 releases. The expansion pack even includes a TTG animated short summing up how they end up in the game. The pack describes the content as "go on missions and explore several psychedelic areas from the Titans Tower to Wacka Doodles Amusement Park."

EDIT: Amazon has preorders for a Holiday Collection DVD for October 24. Front cover indicates 9 episodes.

    9/28: October episodes

    October 9
(Mod Note: how this ties into Columbus Day... I got nothin')

"TV Knight 2" should be fun. The first one was pretty hilarious from what I remember. I presume "Costume Contest" is supposed to be a Halloween special of sorts.

Correct logline for "Justice Leauge's Next Top Talent Idol Star"
EDIT: Just saw the promo on CN. Wow, lot's of guest stars and Leaguers in the main TTG style. But hmm, a two parter. So it's the whole half hour.

He did in Two-Parter Part 2, so if he wins in this episode I wouldn't be too surprised.

There's also the Oct. 6 New Friday promo. But there's just a brief shot of "TV Knight 2" with Starfire and Cyborg in a cooking show.

I know it's ridiculous for me to say this but I think that that Teen Titans go! will migrate to the Dc streaming service on 2018 since it's made by DC entertainment the branch of DC comics
