Effective this Saturday, Sym-Bionic Titan will air new episodes on Saturday Mornings at 9:30 A.M. It will be airing right after Pokemon: Black and White, and right before Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge. It has no reruns planned as of right now. On Wednesday nights at 7:00 P.M., Johnny Test will be airing a full half-hour. I don't know what's up with this change... but if this does mean that Sym-Bionic Titan will get better ratings and get renewed for another season, I'm fine with it. What do you think about this change? Good? Bad? Neutral?
Here are the current listings for premieres:

    Saturday, March 26, 2011
    9:30 A.M. - A Family Crisis

    Saturday, April 2, 2011
    9:30 A.M.- Steel Foe

..what?? Really?? I hope this ends up good for ratings, but I don't think Sym-bionic Titan belongs on Saturday mornings. This is eerily similar to the path that The Secret Saturdays went down.

Not a good sign. Not a good sign at all.

It's SatAM ratings aren't anywhere as good as the better performers on the block, but it might possibly be doing better there than in the 7pm Wednesday slot. Of course, we can't really know that if we're not getting the numbers for its Wednesday night slot.

Either way, I'm already braced at the chance of cancellation. I'd like to believe other wise, but the writing's on the wall right there.

For whatever reason, it just couldn't get enough ratings to sustain itself on Friday or Wednesday. At least Cartoon Network did promote the move to Wednesday; but it seems to only do well on Saturdays. I'm hoping the fact that CN was willing to put in a different primetime slot as well as the promotion it did receive means that it'll be renewed. At least they DID try. It's possible the Saturday ratings were enough. I guess time will time will tell.

Wednesday ratings for Sym-Bionic Titan were terrible. Sym-Bionic Titan did pretty decent on Fridays and does decent on Saturday mornings. I hope it gets renewed

If you go on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, you'll see Johnny Test in Sym-Bionic Titan's timeslot at 7:00 P.M.

If you click "TV Schedule" on the show's page, you can see the premiere dates and time, which are all listed at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday Mornings as of right now.

Do you happen to know the ratings for Sym-Bionic Titan on Wednesday nights? If so, can you tell me or give me a link where I can see it?

The only info I know is from press releases. We see how poorly Generator Rex has been performing with 1.4 and 1.3 usually and we see the press release numbers for Rex. Sym-Bionic Titan has lower numbers in the press release therefore Titan is performing a little lower than Rex which is bad numbers. No one really knows Titan's exact numbers

I'm not sure if this is that similar to the situation with The Secret Saturdays. I don't think that Cartoon Network advertised for the new time slots that series got during its second season, but they have done that for Sym-Bonic Titan. Plus, I don't think that they have a terrible timeslot for premiers like Secret Saturdays did. I believe that Sym-Bionic Titan did generally better on their Saturday morning lineup and since Pokemon Black and White has done really well in ratings, from what I've seen at least, perhaps that could help Sym-Bionic Titan as well. I understand why people are nervous and are fearing a cancellation, but it still looks like they're giving Sym-Bionic Titan better treatment than they did with the Secret Saturdays for a good chuck of its run.

If it will get good ratings, then I'm okay with the move. I was liking Sym-Bionic Titan on Wednesdays, it didn't get good ratings, but it was nice to have some action on another weekday. I really, really don't want to see this show cancelled.

Hope you're right Light and you do have point there so lets wish Titan gets better ratings.

On one hand, it could make sense...if advertised. I mean Pokemon Black and White kicks the crap out of everything on Saturdays, so you really couldn't ask for a better lead in on Saturday mornings.

...but on the other hand, it's already on at 9:30 am on Saturday, and it's not exactly setting the world on fire. I guess we'll see what happens.

If Titan moves to Sat. then there's trouble. It'll be cancelled faster than The Hasslehoffs (ZING!).

Ouch. This doesn't bode well, but as others have said, it is a better time slot than The Secret Saturdays (I still miss that show so much...) got, so there's that. But I do think this is probably Titan's last chance. I'm going to enjoy it while I can.

Those are all fake numbers. Travis Yanan never released the ratings data for SBT.

I've seen a couple of people mention Secret Saturdays, but I don't really see the comparison... yet. That series was moved around and forgotten by the network rather quickly, with new premieres coming in graveyard timeslots AND absolutely no promotion to go along with it. Sym-Bionic Titan is, at the very least, leading out Pokemon (which has made a killing on Saturday mornings, up to this point). All things considered, the timeslot itself is also decent, especially in comparison to what the Saturdays clan was buried under.

I'm concerned, believe me. Three timeslot changes is never good for a series that was already treading a fine line to begin with. BUT, I will give them the benefit of the doubt to start, provided that there is actual advertisement for this move. If this ends up going completely unmentioned by the marketing staff, in the kind of move akin to Secret Saturdays treatment, then I'd say it's time to start digging SBT's grave.

I have mixed feelings about this move. On one hand, it might be good for ratings and CN's attempt to get the best ratings it can get for the show to ensure it gets renewed. On the other hand, the fact that it's only been a short time since it moved to Wednesdays and is now being moved again could lose it some of the audience that just got used to the first move. We'll soon find out.

With only 3 new eps left, don't count on any new promos about the new slot. While I dearly hope the show gets renewed, unless work is being done now (or has been in the last month or so), we won't be seeing new material for quite a while even if new eps are confirmed.

This series is without a doubt the best thing on CN right now, and I don't just mean of the action shows, I mean PERIOD. If it doesn't get renewed, that decision, along with others made by CN over the last three years or so (in particular the fate of The Secret Saturdays), will be the final straw that motivates me to write and convey my rage about what CN has turned into since the early 2000s, when they obviously cared about animation as quality entertainment, as well as their audience, both of which have been supplanted by concerns about their bottom line and pleasing their stockholders.
