Well then. Didn't expect that to happen. I'm just glad it wasn't E7:AO. I that was the new show, I probably would have destroyed something.

Considering AO hasn't been dubbed yet, that would've been a bit difficult anyways.

Not familiar with the show but reading the plot in Wikipedia the show sounds a lot like Dot.Hack.

Now the question is which show it replacing. It can't be Soul Eater since that ending in September/October and can't be the 3 Shonen Jump series since those rule the 12am-1:30am timeslot with an iron fist. So it either IGPX or Eureka 7 so that put series around 2am and 2:30am. Sheesh kind of late to premier a new series isn't it?

Eureka 7 ends in August, so this is what's replacing it. They'll probably either bump Soul Eater down and have SAO get the 1:30am slot, or this will just bump IGPX down.

I am not happy. This is Tenchi GXP all over again except it's brand spanking new. This is not just a mistake, this is an EXPENSIVE MISTAKE.

I can't talk about this series without nerdraging. I will say no more.

So yeah episodes 10, 21, and 24 should be interesting...

So far, Sword Art: Online seems a little polarizing to a number of people? I hope that isn't the case come premiere night. I'm interested in seeing that this show is about for myself.

    Oh, huh. Nevermind then.

Surprised they didn't go with AO then, it would've been perfect timing for that release.

Looks like I was right about Toonami willing to air premieres at 2am. Whether SAO takes 1:30am and knocks down E7, or it takes 2:00am and knocks IGPX down. Either way, IGPX will move.

I know, right? And until we know for sure what time slot Sword Art Online is airing in, I'm still not 100% certain it will be replacing Eureka Seven. Part 1 of Sword Art Online's Blu-ray/DVD is also coming out in August, too, if that matters at all...

I haven't seen this show before, but I haven't heard a lot of good things about it, specifically in the later episodes. I'll probably give it a shot though just to see how I feel about it. A part of me is surprised that they didn't go for Eureka Seven AO, but since I really don't care for the original series, I'm okay with them not airing the sequel series too. I'm surprised that they announced it so early, but maybe they aren't as interested in keeping what new shows come up a secret. Depending on how Soul Eater does, they might move that down to 2AM so that Sword Art Online can air right after One Piece. I could easily see IGPX taking Eureka Seven's old timeslot if its ratings continue to be low.

Not interested in the least. I tried watching the simulcast and it did absolutely nothing for me. Hope it doesn't interrupt how the first two hours are currently scheduled. If it's on after Soul Eater I won't worry about it.

If you did care for the original series you would be ecstatic for Eureka Seven AO not airing; it's one thing a series being bad on its own even as a sequel (GXP) and another thing being bad and taking a massive dump on the show's predecessor.
