ET has a featurette on it and comments from cast.
The final trailer:
Final Suicide Squad cast list confirms certain supporting roles and includes one surprise.
Ike Barinholtz is playing a an Arkham guard named Griggs.
Scott Eastwood is playing Lieutenant GQ Edwards.
David Harbour is playing Dexter Tolliver.
Corina Calderon is playing El Diablo's wife, Grace.
As for the surprise character:
Admiral Olsen and Dexter Tolliver jumped out at me. Olsen's father in the comics was something in the government. And Derek Tolliver was a NSC liaison to the Suicide Squad. Bumped heads with Flag over who was in charge in a Firestorm comic where the squad was sent to capture Firestorm. Maybe this Dexter is related or a rework of the character.
Well, I guess it could tie-in to what they did with Jimmy in BvS .
I should probably get around to watching that movie.
Eh, what's the rush ?
I don't think I need to see BvS first before I go see SS. BvS is out on Redbox the week after I think.
EDIT: Confirmation of a mid-credits scene in early screenings.
Yeah, I'm just going to pretend Suicide Squad is unconnected to any DC Movie Universe and enjoy the experience.
King Shark was initially meant to be in the Squad before being replaced with Killer Croc.
Haha. Now I definitely don't feel bad that I haven't seen it yet.

Reviews are out and as much as I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, it's a giant, steaming pile of fetid garbage.
It's going up against the worst competition you can have. The reviews may make it go below the estimates, but it'll be #1.
But I'm not seeing it after that review.
From what I've seen, the reviews seemed to be more balanced compared to the overwhelmingly negative reception of BvS' reviews.
And it doesn't seem like this review is a fan of Ayer's work, so that was probably something going against the movie to begin with .
Kinda curious what he means by racial-stereotyping Croc and how underwhelming Leto's Joker is. ..
Very harsh review. Coming from a critic and outlet that I can't say I've ever paid attention to for the movies I want to see, I admit that it's not affecting my desire to see this or not but I'll keep its words in mind if things turn out to be as bad as they say. I haven't had insane expectations for the movie, unlike every other person I seem to know, but I have been hoping for good performances and hoping that the characters will be done justice. I just have to judge for myself and hopefully it's at least good enough not to disappoint me when my expectations don't go above moderate.
I've only seen a few movies Ayer was involved in, and the one I love wasn't directed by him, but I at least liked the ones I saw.

And if all else fails...we've still got Wonder Woman .
Yeah this is.more reason to nix Zack Snyder if he is the overall guide to the universe. He'll just hoodwinked everybody again like always do.
The "Ghostbusters" reboot and Sausage Party got positive reviews, so I'm not convinced.
I'll see and judge the movie for myself.
Yeah...I popped my head in Twitter this morning and witnessed a storm.
I'm still gonna watch the film on opening weekend, but I'm keeping my expectations in check.
Y'know it would've been nice to have a live-action DC movie that was not only received well overall, rather then a mixed reaction, but also not divisive among fans .
I'd certainly prefer not to have a situation where fans start a petition to take down Rotten Tomatoes just because they're upset about a critical reaction...
