An enjoyable first issue. Most of it just sets up the characters, setting, and a bit of the plot. While the initial dialog tries a bit too hard to sound hip (TMZ), it gets better when Kevin and Adam move to college. The cameos by Squirrel Girl and a couple of supporting The Spectacular Spider-Man characters were welcome.

The art was appropriately cartoony, but a bit rough around the edges, particularly the backgrounds lacking any detail. I think it's more of the coloring that bothered me.
