ItsJustSomeRandomGuy's videos are always a good source for a laugh.
And I am amused by the fact that Webb is directing Spider-Man.
Wasn't Sandman that villain?
....oh, wait, THAT thing.
Plus, you quoted my quote of what someone else said.
Very funny video.
I wonder how true this is.
Okay. So, like Batman Begins, but maybe only with one villain?
I guess. And if they're really doing this on an $80 million budget, I wouldn't expect any flashy villains like the Lizard.
Also, that video by ItsJustSomeRandomGuy is hilarious.
Very since Brian Michael Bendis recently asked to be a consultant on the movie.
I'm not a fan of the reboot, but a movie based on the Ultimate storyline is something I can get behind!
Maybe some generic mobster stand-in for the Kingpin. Or I suppose the thugs who killed Uncle Ben.
this thought just came to mind:
i get the feeling the reboot will have more of a "modern/contemporary/ect" feel to it than raimi's films. when comparing the reboot to raimi's films, i think the reboot will look dated over time while raimi's films will look more timeless.
i thought spider-man 3 was the end of the series. i wasn't expecting anymore films. spider-man 4 was a pleasant surprise. i wish spider-man 4 just stayed in development hell now. at least that would have hopefully delayed this reboot.
and for the record, i think spider-man 3 is the best one. so you wont be hearing "it's all because spider-man 3 sucked" from me.
Hey, nifty! Wait.....
So, there going to put love triangles and bully's over villains and fighting? Crap, I'm not fond of that idea at all. Why can't Marvel buy Spider-Man back again?
There's not much actual bullying or love triangles in the Ultimate Spidey comics. In fact there's less bullying than the original comics when he was in high school.
I hope they take the positive parts of the Ult comics and the positives from the original comics and movies to make some good movies. As well as learn from the mistakes of the previous movies.
I just hope they're not using Ultimate Spidey as an excuse to tell a cliché high school movie.
We got more news.
I haven't read any Spidey comics in over a decade (not since the mid-90s, to be precise), so now I really have no idea what to expect. Haha!!
But, with the reboot now officially announced, perhaps it's time for a brand new "'Spider-Man' Reboot News & Discussion" thread?
It's time...... I guess you'll make it?
As much as the classic fans like the Peter Parker made web shooter, it's not that realistic: How a young geek without any financial resources would create a magical substance that would be so good so it had the potential to be a solution to a lot of mankind's everyday problems?
The biologic web substance is much more logical and realistic.
Ok, that sounds a little better. The way the other guy was putting it, was sounding like it'd be more about loving than fighting
Now all we need to know is who is going to get casted as who.
isn't that just the first movie the love triangle between Peter Harry and
