Jon Burton, founder of the game studio Traveller's Tales, has started a new YouTube channel called GameHut where he shows off coding secrets and prototype footage of the games his studio worked on during his company's partnership with Sega. (He also shows off a few PS2 games, but they're few and far between; his Sega projects make up the bulk of the content.)

Anyway, Burton recently announced that he's making a Director's Cut of Sonic 3D Blast. He's doing this on his own free time and this will have no affiliation with Sega.

I like the sound of a project like this, hopefully he gets as far as he needs to on this, it really sounds fascinating.

A website has been launched for the game, and there's a questionnaire asking what features you think should be added. Please fill it out while you have the time.
