Shout Factory TV is currently showing the first 7 episodes of Zyuranger this weekend. I think I like this version better than MMPR, and hope the series will eventually turn up on the Roku channel.

They already did it this past weekend. Shout! Factory TV has Zyuranger up for streaming, but they're not listed in the proper order.

August Ragone, the man who hosted the event, started off the Zyuranger live stream with an introduction, and later on appeared in two segments where he shared Sentai knowledge. The clips have been uploaded on YouTube.

The one that stands out to me the most is how even Zyuranger almost didn't happen, and Jetman was almost the final Sentai. I wonder if Saban still would have adapted anything if things actually ended up happening that way.

The Complete Zyuranger series is now streaming on Roku's Shout Factory TV app.

Pre-orders for Kakuranger have gone live at Shout! Factory's site, and is scheduled for release on May 17th. It's also confirmed to have ten discs. If you pre-order at their site, you can get it two weeks early. I figured they'd do that since that's what they did with the Dairanger DVD. People who pre-ordered Zyuranger at their site got it early too.

This comes out before my birthday. If this year weren't a leap year, it would actually be getting released on my birthday.

    It should be noted that...

    "Gekisou Sentai! Car......RANGER!!"

...was kind of a self-parody series in which the rangers are "fighting fro traffic safety!".

As I understand it, Ohrangers, which I'm told was a much darker take on the series was almost the final Super Sentai series, hence why Carrangers was made the way it was.

Incidentally, that was how the Carrangers actually said their name (i.e., the "car" part of their name was drawn out before finishing with "ranger").

Also, Zyuranger and Dairanger are on Tubi TV and Shout Factory TV (well, I know that Dairanger is on Tubi TV; don't about Shout Factory).

I wonder if they plan to keep going until they reach the current Power Rangers series (whichever it ends up being). You see, here's what they have remaining after Gingaman:

Go Go Five (Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue)
    Time Rangers (...Time Force)
    Gao Rangers (...Wild Force)
    Magirangers (...Mystic Force)
    Abarangers (...Dino Thunder)
    Deka Rangers (...S.P.D.)
    Boukengers (...Operation Overdrive)
    Hurricangers (...Ninja Storm)
    Gekirangers (...Jungle Futy)
    Go-Ongers (...RPM)
Shinkengers (...Samurai, and ...Super Samurai; but one year after the "reversioned" version of the first season aired)
    Goseigers (...Megaforce)
Gokaigers (not present; was part of the basis for "...Super Megaforce")
    Gobusters (not present)
Kyoryugers (...Dino Charge, and ...Dino Supercharge)
    ToQgers (not present)
Ninningers (...Ninja Steel, which is also getting a "part 2")
    Zyuohgers (unknown at this time)
Kyurangers (also unknown at this time)

    Etc., etc., etc.

With this in mind, I wonder what Shout! Factory plans to do if they catch up?...

It'll be a while before they catch up. When they do, they can probably get the rights to the ones that came before Zyuranger.

I watched an episode of ToQgers about a week or two ago, and was quite impressed with this sentai team's power to transform their powers onto their fellow rangers, as well as the train theme of the show. I also liked the train conductor and his little hand puppet (reminded me of Mr. Hand from South Park.) I'd like to see this sentai series released here in America (if they ever get around to it).
