Well, tonight's broadcast marks the final appearance of T.O.M. 3.5 along with the Absolution v. 2.5. These 11 months will be ones that we'll never forget...

What were your favorite T.O.M. 3.5 bumps, game reviews, music videos, intros, speeches, etc.?

Frankly, I still consider TOM 3.5 and TOM 3 to be more or less the same character.

Which makes his final appearance about a decade after his debut all the more sad. He's had a good run.

Just the opposite, Toonami's future is looking brighter than ever. We're getting a retooled Toonami next week with a new Tom.

If it was, then there would be more of an uproar of disappointment here.

TOM 3 and TOM 3.5 seem about the same to me, but I am going to miss seeing its design after getting used to it for nearly a year. I always liked the bumps about new shows and TOM talking about haters the most. The latter especially felt like a good way to talking to some of the fans.

Well, all TOMs are technically the same person. Toonami will most likely be the same, the only difference will be TOM, the Absolution and a new look for the bumpers. So I expect there'll be more speeches, game reviews and music videos.

I'll miss T.O.M. 3.5. I liked the life speech, the haters speech, the Casshern Sins, Soul Eater, ThunderCats, and Samurai 7 promos. I also liked the Slender, Dust: An Elysian Tail, and Halo 4 game reviews, and when he transmitted T.O.M. 4.

    Ahhh, good times...

Will Tom's voice be the same? The new look works, but it's the voice that truly counts.

I'm not quite as sad about seeing TOM 3.5 leave, as he was just an updated version of TOM 3. We had TOM 3 from 2003-2007 (4 years), and if you include TOM 3.5 that adds an extra year to the mix of TOM 3. Not to mention we had recycled branding and bumpers dating back from those TOM 3 years on Saturdays. The only reason we got TOM 3.5 as opposed to TOM 5 from the get go was because it was cheaper at the time, and they were aware of all of the hatred TOM 4 got. Yeah, I'll miss him to an extant, but a new TOM was very well needed. Toonami has always been about updating itself throughout the years, because otherwise everything would become stale.

    I didn't hate him, either.

And yeah, while TOM 3.5 was a nice re-visit of the TOM 3 era, I'm excited to see something new.
So bring on TOM 5, if you ask me.

Don't get me wrong. I'm just as excited about T.O.M. 5 as you guys are, but 3.5 has given me a lot of fond memories in the 11 months he's been on the air.

I'm glad that [adult swim]'s Toonami will finally have a look that is exclusive to it.

I'm definitely going to miss TOM 3.5, since TOM 3 was my favorite TOM ever. I have all the promos and show bumps downloaded on my computer, though, so if i ever feel like I need to see TOM 3.5, I can watch them. So BRING ON TOM 5!!!

I think that the reason that I'm most excited for TOM 5 is because, really, it shows that we've succeeded. A year ago, everyone was told that Toonami needed ratings to survive. They were working on a shoestring budget, and couldn't afford a new TOM. What this new TOM really means is that, not only is Toonami entering a new era on [as], but it shows that their budget has gone up. They are a success. The revolution was a success.
