    In terms of 1980-1981, my guess as to the big winner that year was ABC, for two main reasons:

    1. Scooby-Doo/Richie Rich. Yeah, Scooby was entering its "dark period" with the two main elements of it (annoying Scrappy-Doo, moving away from the mystery aspect) in full force here. However, said changes was what helped Scooby-Doo become popular in the ratings again and last through the early half of the 1980's (with things getting better once Scappy got toned down and Daphne returned to the cast, alongside the mystery aspect).

    2. Thundarr the Barbarian. Not only one of the first "big" Ruby-Spears titles, but also helped set the stage for some of the darker Saturday morning cartoons of the 1980's and 1990's.
