In an attempt to expand Reality Bytes! into more than just reality games, me and Colin were thinking of reviving the RPG games.

Basically, what we need are suggestions for RPG plot ideas, who's willing to participate by playing or creating one, and what type of game will it be.

Bear in mind that, like reality games, RPGs require strong commitement from all players.

Stories can be original, or based on cartoons or TV shows, anything is allowed here.

So post all suggestions on this thread. We really want this to work, but it can only work if plenty of people are willing to participate.

I've been considering "scavenger hunt's" and "Mafia's" But I really don't know how they work. I do have off sites to place clues and such, but other than that, I find I'm bored between trying to snag an editorship, I'm around everyday, though not universally liked, so I'm open to suggestions. I'm only imaginative to an extent, then I turn to magic. :p

    I'd host Mafia, it's a great game.

Considering I'm head mod of the RPG board, I would have liked a consult.

I know that F&G has had RPGs in the past, but I never followed up to see if they were successful or not... I wouldn't even know how to play. But maybe.
Wait, we have an RPG board? I honestly had no clue...

It is a possibility. And I never knew we had an RPG board either...

Hmmm, I'd be interested, depending on what type of game it was.

(I knew we had an RPG board, but I wasn't sure if it was even still around)

Well, I thought there was a WF one, back when, wasn't there?

Yeah, apparently it got moved to being a subforum of the WF Writing Corner. Still there, it seems.

Hmm. Still, these have been done in the F&G board before, no need for a consult really...

That board is only for WF-related RPGs. Doing RPGs here has been going on for about a year now.

    BTW, how does Mafia work?

    Same here.

    Does it involve leveling...? XD

I've seen an X-Men Evolution and a DCAU RPG on the TZ fanfiction boards.

I know we've done Mafia in the past and if I recall, it was a lot of fun. Certainly something I'd like to see again :)

From what I could tell mafia is a little like the Mole. I was drawn to the Werewolf version because I'm spooky like that :p

The only RPG's I've really seen, you create a character within design parameters, and gather objects that you can use, ala D&D

Your two years too late to complain about it.

I would love to do a TZ version of Clue. If I can figure out some rules, I'd host it.

I was considering ways to do just that. I'm also not looking for consideration for anything, so put that out of your mind. I was thinking that off site places could be made that clues could lead to where things could be discovered. Some places all it would take is an url and an access code.

If it helps, don't think of me as someone seeking higher access. Sometimes I get the feeling I'm ignored as trying to do things people don't want. I'll give you what I think, use it if you can.

Actually, I just came up with a way to do Clue.

Be on the lookout for details.

After discussing it with Colin, we're doing Clue: Toon Zone Edition. Look for a sign up thread soon.

This thread will be left open for future suggestions.
