Why must a painter I've seen in my parents and grandparents' houses go away so fast....

I didn't know he was still alive.

    R.I.P Thomas Kincade.

One of his paintings has been hanging on the wall at my house since forever. He will be missed.

    Fixed.

The TODAY show did a segment on Kinkade this morning.

To hear that segment, apparently Kinkade led a troubled life in the last few years. A shame, I never knew much of the man himself up until now.

Yeah, his behavior sounds like that of a person with a serious alcohol problem. Hopefully that didn't contribute to his early death.

A friend sent me a Christmas card with his artwork a couple of years back. I looked him up and even bookmarked his site and he had some good works.

    R.I.P. Thomas Kinkade.
