This thread will have all the necessary information for you to play "24", the first RPG that takes place at Toon Zone's F&G Board. It's important that you read everything mentioned here and learn it. You can print this post, memorize it, and then eat it.

    The Story

It all starts, takes place, and ends inside the Toon Zone Building, where a group of workers had to stay up late because of too much work. When they all finally decide to leave, they notice that every exit of the building has been sealed with absolutely no way out. The villian, a person completely against Toon Zone and everything that goes inside it, has invaded the building's computer system and locked everyone in. This villian, along with his two sidekicks, is also hidden somewhere in the building where he had just set up a bomb that will blow up in exactly 24 hours.

So, if they want to escape out alive, they must find the villian, the bomb, and deactivate it in less than 24 hours. This won't be an easy job, since the villian's sidekicks happen to be brilliant masterminds who have sent robots to patrol the whole place and stop you from doing your job. Plus, the TZ Building, as big as it is, will make things a lot harder, since finding a hidden bomb in there somewhere is like finding a needle in a haystack...

Fortunately, everyone has a special accessory that should help them in their task, some to help solve the mystery, others to help fighting the villians.

    The Toon Zone Building

The TZ Building is a place where people can go and buy, rent, or take a look at everything that's cartoon-related. It has 8 floors and 2 undergrounds, but each level is huge, as the building covers an entire block.

Lobby: At the entrance of this building is where everything begins. It's just a small room with the reception, stairs, and elevators that go to the other floors.

2nd Floor: The Library. This is the biggest archive of comics, books and every readable cartoon-related material. It even includes some copies of comic books of an extremely high value who do not exist anywhere else.

3rd Floor: The Museum. An art collection of paintings, photographs, and sculptures involving famous cartoonists. It also has a section of original cel art that goes all the way to the 30s.

4th Floor: The Cafeteria. A dining room to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a kitchen included, of course. There's also a living room where people can go mingle and take rests from work.

5th Floor: The DVD Room. A vast collection of every DVD ever made. If it was released on DVD, you can find it here.

6th Floor: The Videogame Room. The world's biggest videogame collection ever from the early years of Atari to the Gamecube and Playstation 2.

7th and 8th Floor: Staff Room. The place where all the inside work takes place. Authorized personal only. Lots and lots of halls and offices.

Underground 1: Parking lot. This is where every worker parks his car. That simple.

Underground 2: Cellar. Where everything in storage is kept.

Overall Rules (Some of these are taken from the RPG Rules Thread, but you still need to read them carefully since they aren't identical)

    1) Write in the FIRST person and in the PRESENT. You ARE the character and not some third party observer.

    2) If you can't post anymore for any "real-life" reason, try to ask someone else if he can take control of your character, or we'll find a way to write him off (not reccomended).

    3) Don't play the game if you have no intention of going all the way to the end. Sometimes RPGs get really disrupted when a player stops posting for no reason.

    4) Always add a "IC" sign indicating that you're posting IN CHARACTER. If you want to ask the gamemaster or other player a question, use the sign "OC", indicating you're OFF CHARACTER.

    5) Given the plot of the RPG, you MUST post a time frame at the beginning and the end of every IC post, indicating how much time has passed. The next person must then take it from there (or slightly earlier, if that person is in a different place). I reccomend spending around 5-10 minutes on your post. The time limit for every post is 15 minutes. Remember we only have 24 hours.

    Sample post:

IC: [Your Character name goes here]

    5:23 AM

[Everything that happens during your turn goes here, from your POV]

    5:31 AM

    6) You cannot control a taken character unless given the OK by the user. Ad-libbing is allowed, but not all the time, and keep it to a minimum.

    7) No Adult language, situations or anything you wouldn't find in a PG to PG-13 (Try and keep it at PG though) movie.

    8) "Killing-Off" another member’s character isn't permitted. Killing your own character is allowed, but, be warned, killing off a character could slow down the RPG.

    9) Most important: Have fun!

    Character Form

Here's the form every player MUST FILL if you want to play in the RPG:

Player Name: Your Toon Zone Username.
Character Name: The name of your character. It doesn't have to be a full name, but just a first name so he can be identified.
Good/Bad Guy: Which side your character is in. There are 3 bad guys (one main and two sidekicks), all the others are good guys. (ALL VILLIANS ARE TAKEN! EVERYONE THAT SUBMITS FROM NOW ON IS A GOOD GUY!)
Accessory: The weapon that will help your character do his job. Be creative, because we're allowed to use mythical weapons as well as magic here. No instant-kill weapons such as real guns, please. Try to come up with something useful for both attack and defense. (Villians carry a weapon of their own too, BTW)
Job: What your character does at the TZ building. It can be anything from the guy that sweeps the cellar to a high executive. I reccomend to pick up something that focuses on a particular section, though. (If you are one of the villians, don't bother with this).
Looks: Height, weight, hair, eyes, age, dressing style, everything that is noticeable at sight.
Psychological Description: How your characters acts and behaves. Is he better alone or as part of a team? Try to answer every possible question here.

And that's pretty much it. Everyone who wants to play must fill the Character Form and submit it on this thread. Remember, even if you didn't get to vote in the previous thread, THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO SHOW INTEREST IN THE GAME. I will give until May 8th for you to submit your character, after that, this thread will be closed and the game will begin.

Guys, please, don't let me down, because we can make this a great RPG, as well as a first of future generations to come. Boy that was so cheezy...

Hope to hear from you guys soon. And again remember, have fun!

    Good/Bad Guy: Good.
Accessory: A pair of legendary boots that allow the person that wears them to run very fast and walk on walls and ceilings. They also give the person extreme agility and strenght in his feet and legs for fighting.
Job: He's the head supervisor of the museum. His office is located in floor 8.
Looks: 22 years old, normal height and big-bodied. Brown hair and eyes. Usually wears jeans, snickers, and a long-sleeved shirt.
Psychological Description: He's a very cautious person that tries to keep calm even in the toughest situation. He's not really a very good leader, but he can work well on his own, or in small groups of 2 or 3.

    Player Name:Mr. Pedro
    Character Name: Knux Five
    Good/Bad Guy: Good
Accessory: Maehara Shinobu. This beloved character from Love Hina is at Knux's beck and call ever since he hired her as his personal secretary (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Knux attacks enemies by throwing Shinobu at them (damage can be maximized by setting her on fire, strapping explosives on her, ect), or simply sending her running into combat with arms flailing (for Knux is too scared to fight himself). And if things make a turn for the worse, Knux can always hide behind her. Shinobu can also be used to break down doors as a battering ram, crawl into air ducts to get into other rooms and disable electrical transformers by sticking her finger in. If all of this sounds brutal, don't fear, for Shinobu is a sadist at heart and actually enjoys this kinda thing.
Job: Controls thermostat on the 2nd floor.
    Looks: Like this,
    [IMG]
Psychological Description: A bit on the cocky side, but a decent fellow overall. Prefers to work on a team, especially if he's in the company of the ladies.

    weight:150 lbs.

    Player Name: MahouShoujo13
    Character Name: Katrina
    Good/Bad Guy: Good.
Accessory: An odd amulet that helps her use and control any kind of magic. A crystal heart with a sword in the center. It also has a thin leather strap. This is very important and cannot be misplaced; if this is lost, her powers become very uncontrolled, as she is a budding spellcaster.
Job: Librarian. She works at a rectangular shaped desk in the library, only it has 3 sides (it's attached to a wall, under a large painting). It's full of unorganized paperwork, ink stamps, pens, and has a computer. There's a red chair (with wheels). One can enter and leave the workspace by a swinging door that's locked by the inside.
Looks: Age is unknown. Looks like a teenager. Has dark brown hair cut at the chin and dark brown hair, and of Filipine descent. Often wears oval framed eyeglasses, a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers.
Psychological Description: She sometimes keeps to herself, and is somewhat mysterious and quiet. She's friendly...but to only to people that are nice to her. She's very emotional, and sensitive, and often takes things seriously and to heart. She is sometimes very clumsy and often daydreams of anything, from a game that led her to like like some characters from video games and anime to a current crush. She sometimes likes to work in a group, other times she'd rather be alone, and usually acts as a follower. One can see her in a group, all quiet and reserved, not saying suggestions. In her work, she often reads a book, manga, or daydreams while keeping an eye for trouble. Also has a twin sister working in the building that she cannot be separated from...well....they can be separated during work.

    Sure, why not? :D

    Player Name: Tenku

    Character Name: Tenkushii

    Good/Bad Guy: Good

Accessory: Two blue pens. Since she is always seen writing, she usually cares around a pen, even a extra, but it can also be used as lightsabers (a la Starwars), and even a double edge sword if connected together (a la Darth Maul!) With enough power, can cut through steel. Activated by pressing the cap. Power adjustable.

Job: Librarian of the TZ member submitted stories.

    Looks:
    Age: 16
    Build: Petite
    Height: 5'0
    Weight: 120
    Hair Color: Black
    Eye Color: Green

Wears baggy jeans and a black tanktop, and also wears glasses. Pigtails included. Looks like a 12 year old. Most of the time, no shoes.

Psychological Description: Shy, most of the time kept to herself, reading books in the library, or writing, and meek. Any other time, she eats in the cafeteria. Doesn't like to be bothered/pestered when doing work; easily riles up at any disturbance.
Not exactly a team player, and she can only bear no more than 3 to a group. Most of the time, she goes alone. Panics when something really bad happens. Practically wears emotions. Easily distracted, and has a very short attention span. Due to her "imagination," she has played a certain videogame 40 times, and another countless times, just in case of emergency...
Is quite intellegent, but when it comes to solving problems, a bit of a dunce.

Good/Bad Guy: Villain Sidekick. NOT Main villain.
Accessory: Null ray. It nullifies all forms of energy. Can disrupt any technology, and render people immobile. (Think cross between Syndrome's Zero-point Energy ray and Starscream's Null Ray.) However, it has limited power, and can only be used so much before recharging.
Job: Formerly of the research department in the Toonzone Museum, I left in a tiff involving revolutionary new views of continuity that other Staffers disagreed with. When Tyranemis offered me a job, I eagerly lept at the opportunity to have my revenge against the organization that didn't appreciate my genius.
Looks: 6'3", greying temples. Broad build, but not overweight. conspicuous lack of a beard.
Psychological Description: Very intelligent, (Was formerly a proffessor/researcher after all.) Can get very cocky and self confident. Refuses to admit he is wrong or that any other point of view besides is own is valid. Maybe think Count Dooku.

    Player Name: Agent S7
    Character Name: Agent Secret7
    Good/Bad Guy: Good Guy...?
Accessory: Implant in mind that grants him enormous psychic power. He can shift through reality and nothingness to sneak up on foes. Implant also grants him telekinisis and limited precognition, as well as a little martial arts knowledge. Unfortunately, the chip CAN be shut off temporarily by whacking him on the head reall really hard. It will be shut off for about an hour, rebooting itself.
Job: Agent for the S.A.B. (Shadow Agent Bureau), a mysterious organization that actually owns the world but doesn't run it. I've said too much, now I'll have to kill you.... The reason he's here in the building is because somehow he and his agency knew about this. He's been posing as the Parking Lot Hobo for some time now (though he looked sorta out of character in a shnazzy tuxedo)
Looks: Always wearing black, whether it be a tuxedo (usually wears that) or a black jumpsuit (during particularly dangerous missions). Has brown hair. His eyes are not visible due to his sunglasses, preventing anyone from ever scanning his identity.
Psychological Description: Secret7 is, first of all, very mysterious. He's so mysterious that...he's like...you um...aren't reading this. OK, his personality is really like a cross between Beast Boy and Raven, always making stupid yet somehow interesting jokes, but really keeping to himself and not showing his interior. Much more serious on the inside, he is constantly struggling against his fears and his doubts, and contemplating his place in the world. At the same time, ideas for stories surge through his mind all of the time, sometimes distracting him. Overall, he is mostly stable, but should still be watched in case he gives into his fears and joins the Dark Side.

    Character Name: April
    Good/Bad Guy: Good.
Accessory: A little key attached to a plain string, which serves as a necklace. The key has a blue gem in the middle, everything else is gold, being it swirls around the gem at the top. But when she takes the string off, and says a few couple word ("Please Help Me"), her key transforms into a magic staff (for reference, try picturing Sailor Pluto's staff).
Job: An Attendee of the Videogame Room. She mostly takes cares of any guests staying there during the day, and picks up any misplaced games and turns off any electrical appliances and consoles when the building has to close, which she hates doing.
Looks: For age, a younger teenager. She has dark brown hair cut at the chin, with bangs, and is of Filipine descent. She has dark brown eyes, and wears round, circular glasses with a red-violent tint. For her work, she wears a blouse, jeans, and sneakers (in no way she wears high heels to job where she walks around).
Psychological Description: You can call her weird. Whenever she is hyper, or just totally awake, she speaks in this high-pitched voice, which can creep out anybody. When she's just tired, indifferent, on her sarcastic side, bored, or even sick, she speak in her normal voice, a little high-pitched, but more of a medium pitch. She is very nice, and doesn't want to do anything which will put anyone in danger. She can also be clumsy, and when asked to solve things, she makes the problem worse, not better. She can be relaxed, go-with-the flow girl, and other times she is meticulous, nervous, and uptight person. She is also a perfectionist. She is actaully afraid to be alone at night in the Videogame Room, especially since the TZ building is huge (To be specific, also paraniod of supernatural entities, and strange people who will attack her when alone). She does not like working alone, and is compatible with a huge group (mainly 7-10 people). On spare times, she either reads manga, doodles, hum any J-pop, rock, and DDR songs when it comes to her mind, or talks and relaxes in either the Lobby or Cafeteria. She has a twin sister (MahouShoujo)which even though can be separated at work, you'd find them together..most of the time.

Looks:Has black long hair, keeps it in a ponytail.Usually wears a yellow dress with small pink flowers on it.
Also wears high heels and a ring on her left finger.
    Is in her early twenties.
Psychological Description:Is cheerful,happy-go-lucky,critical,and self-confident.Would rather be a leader than a follower, although is content either way.

Job: Main Evil Guy who wishes to destroy everything along with the assitance of lackies to help along the way.

looks: Shrouded in Mystery, human?, Inhuman? Man? Machine? All that is ever seen is a black cloaked figure, prehaps some will gaze upon the tangible features...if they even get that far

Job: Lackey of Tyranemesis; acts more as a mercenary, has own insidious motives; uses Tyranemesis' power, guidance to gain advantage in own affairs.
Looks: Is actually female, dresses in black, ninja-like attire ('cuz his game could use some ninjas, y'know?); covers both face and head with bandannas so that only her green eyes are visible.
Psychological description: A little deranged- thinks she's the reincarnation of a Russian czar. Wants to be referred to as a male. Speaks with an obviously fake accent. Often talks about her troubled childhood in Siberia- despite the fact that she was born and raised in the boonies of Virginia. Is secretive and stealthy.

Character Name: Tim (or other variations)
Good/Bad Guy: Bad...though more correctly, could be half-and-half.
Accessory: Mostly my mind and verbal manipulation. I'm also an above average hand-to-hand fighter and rather acrobatic. I tend to like to tear things in two with my hands; it's known as "the Great Divide".
Job: Since I'm applying for villain, I apparently don't need a job description. Though, just to be fun, let's just call my hopeful role, "MODS GONE WILD!"
Looks: 6'0", 180lbs, caucasian, brown hair, hazel eyes, 25, damned sexy, and a stylish, yet slightly outlandish and geeky-chic dress code.
Psychological Description: He always wants to be part of the team or, better yet, in control of it - if he can manage to take control of himself. Violent mood swings but a high intellect. In short, I'm really messed in the head. :D

NOTE: I don't know how much time I have to dedicate to this endeavour, so if I'm applying to a very time-consuming role, it can be passed on to someone else. I just thought it'd be fair to mention this straight up.

Well since the library is as big as a block, it'll work out. Why not have you guys stationed at different parts of the library?
