    Hello everyone,

So last night, I wrote to NickSplat via Facebook suggesting that Nick at Nite be officially retired and replaced this Fall with NickSplat; here's what I privately wrote to NickSplat:

Dear To Whom It May Concern,
I have a proposal for Nickelodeon: effective Monday, October 2, 2017, it's my proposal AND requirement for Nickelodeon to officially retire Nick at Nite and replace it with NickSplat.

TeenNick, when NickSplat leaves, shall become a 24/7 cable channel for current and recent Nickelodeon Programming, e.g. "Victorious" and "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide," whereas NickSplat (after it replaces Nick at Nite) shall air on the main Nickelodeon channel Monday-Friday from 9 P.M. to 7 A.M. ET / PT and Saturdays-Sundays from 10 P.M. to 7 A.M. ET / PT, again starting Monday, October 2, 2017. NickSplat shall officially re-launch on Nickelodeon on October 2, 2017, with a week-long, all-night "Double Dare-a-Thon," in which original host Marc Summers presents the 40 most memorable episodes of "Double Dare" ever made from 9 P.M. to 2 A.M. ET / PT each night, encoring from 2 A.M. to 7 A.M. ET / PT each night (10 per night over the course of 4 nights).

To me, this sounds like a GREAT Idea in place of Nick at Nite, and I would LOVE it in a heartbeat if this became reality this Fall. Thanks in advance.

So what do YOU folks think? Does this sound like a great idea or what?

Respond and reply here if you agree. Thanks.

NickSplat does not have the authority to move. Viacom has the authority.

Generally most fans have been wanting this to happen, though after a while programs will start becoming repetitive as a negative to this.

There's hardly any animation on the schedule. The only 3 Nicktoons are Hey Arnold!, As Told By Ginger, and Angry Beavers. You'll need more than just those shows.

Keeping it 50/50 with the cartoons and live action is the best scenario.

I agree. Nickelodeon needs to get rid of Nick at Nite and replace it with NickSplat. But while they're at it, what if they also did a 24/7 NickSplat channel? That way, fans get all the classic shows on its own channel 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And for those who wouldn't have the NickSplat channel or even TeenNick, they would still get to have the NickSplat block on the main Nick channel :)
