Doused with acid (explains deformity) and left to die in a dumpster? A BABY? Good heavens that's horrible.

The winner will be announced this Saturday. And accordding to a 4kids rep the winner might come as a surprise.

    *Crosses fingers for #3's victory*

Since he said the winner would be a surprise, that means its probably not #3. Remember, that song was leading in polls the whole time, so if that one won, it *wouldn't* be a surprise.

The fact that the 4kids guy also said voting was neck and neck in the last few days leads me to believe #3 was dethroned. :D

I'm sure thetechnodrome guys will be happy.

Congratulations Sketchy! You just found out why this episode never got the official 4Kids seal of approval.

4Kids? I have a hard time believing the episode would have won anyones' stamp of approval (if indeed it happened). In fact, that the episode managed to make it so far in development suggests that 4Kids actually did approve it at some point, like with Insane in the Membrane.

At least Insane in the Membrane was tame enough to BE made. Great episode...a real heart wrencher :(

So tomorrow we'll either be relieved or very disappointed.

Either way, thank god the DVD's allow you to skip the theme song. If this theme sucks, I'll watch the opening once and then never watch it again.

Of course I'll be forced to watch it as the episodes air live on TV, but only that once. ;)

I wonder if the votes actually ended with #5, or if 4Kids decided to take some creative liscence and flush the joke voters?

Probably the later since people here have mentioned that the subtitle for the new series is "Back to the Sewers" so it's quite possible that song five was always going to win and this contest was just for fun, and at the end even though three might have one five was announced the winner.

And thus, the victory of #5 shows that there truly is justice in the world today.

I never thought I would ever say this but...this is one time that I am GLAD 4Kids rigged the vote.

P.S. Anyone caught the chat room segment on 4KidsTV today? They actually touched on the subject of legal viewing of shows online! That's...pretty bold!

#5 was the only theme song I could actually picture in an animated title sequence. Glad it won.
