There didn't seem to be anything objectionable in the Ghoul short, Disney Channal US really might just be waiting to air it in October.

If it helps. Gary K. Wolf is working on Mickey/Roger team-up (which is a remake of The Stooge but set to be a prequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit):
The creation of Roger Rabbit and more-Gary K. Wolf speaks - National entertainment events | Examiner.com

    Musa Publishing: RABBIT FEVER

Speaking of which, really wish Roger would appear in one of the shorts (maybe even co-star in one).

Yeah, I agree! The best thing to happen for Mickey in a long time (and to commemorate his 85th birthday no less!) and I enjoy every minute. :D

Disney should really consider turning this in a full-fledge animated series.

Though I still haven't seen one of these, my EPG listed them by accident as being short Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episodes.
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? STUPIDLY ENOUGH IT'S POPULAR OVER HERE!

And so, Ghoul Friend made it's US debut tonight. The next two shorts will be titled Dog Show and O Sole Minnie.

Zombie Goofy was a FUN short to watch. Like the gag with the wretch.

Ghoul Friend made it to YouTube if you haven't seen it yet. I love Zombie Goofy's design so much!

We still have that EPG gimmick, believing that they are airing Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for five minutes instead of those shorts.
I've seen the end of one of these.

    Dog Show is up:

Well, Pluto finally makes his debut in these series of shorts. Hopefully they'll give the rest of the supporting cast more screentime during the rest of this run. Goofy and Minnie have made the most appearances so far.

I watched Tokyo Go yesterday. In full. It was just another one of those fine episodes.

It took long enough, but Goofy's species was finally acknowledged in the Disney canon. Makes you question the anthropomorphic society in which Mickey and company live in...

I missed the acknowledgement of Goofy's species.

    Very good short though.

The whole short is about Mickey seeing that Goofy could pass as his dog. It's like when they did a whole cartoon poking fun of the fact that Mickey and Donald are often basically half-naked.

I say bring back the Mouse nephews, as they're perfect for this version of Mickey.

Doesn't mean Goofy is a dog. The definition of a dog at the end (trying to avoid spoilers) doesn't support such a confirmation.

It's all just meant to be a meta joke, so it probably shouldn't be taken at face value anyway.
