So when's the next one
When did this TV spot air?
I saw it last week.
0:26-0:28 was my favorite! Without question, I will tune in to this.
Upcoming theatrical short "Get a Horse!" is not part of these shorts: SNEAK PEEK: The New Disney Channel "Mickey Mouse" Shorts | Animation Scoop
Synopsis of the first five shorts:
Also in the link is concept art of the sensational six and Pete. Goofy has his Dippy Dawg look while Pete has a peg leg.
You can watch a special thirty-two second preview of "Yodelberg" right here.
Also, this seems like a brilliant marketing strategy for the upcoming shorts. The creators of Where's My Water? and Where's My Perry? are going to create a new app for iPhones, Androids, tablets, etc., entitled Where's My Mickey? It looks fun, and it will introduce the story-based adventures inspired by the upcoming shorts. This website also features behind-the-scenes look at the character and level designs, as well as the trailer for the app. It will be released this Thursday.
I watched that clip 5 times, and laughed every single time. Guess you can call me excited.
I think I prefer this clip:
Disney Channel Debuting 'Mickey Mouse' Cartoon Shorts (Exclusive Video)
That's a great premise for a Mickey short.
I actually think of the clips so far, the ones without dialogue are a bit stronger. But I have to admit, seeing Goofy being forceful for once is pretty amusing.
The entire "No Service" short is now on Disney.com (may not work outside the US):

Another fun short. Loved the interaction between mickey and Donald and Goofy's appearance was a unusual, but worked really well in this short. After the last short it's funny hearing Mickey speak in English again.
Heh. That was actually pretty funny. I especially love Donald's face when he realizes he has Mickey's ID card.
That's the most I've laughed at anything related to Mickey Mouse in years. That's exactly what they wanted.
Turns out Mickey has a new VA in these shorts: Chris Diamantopoulos.
Wow. I didn't know that. No wonder Mickey didn't a sound a bit like Bret Iwan (I assumed all this time it was).
With that, here's a sneak peek of New York Weenie:
Good move. I don't need to hear Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in my head when watching something funny and entertaining.
Kind of interesting they got the guy who played Moe in the Three Stooges movie.
Damn it, I'm always re-directed to the Czech Disney site when trying to access the US site
and the Czech site has completely different features
Ugh. The "autoplay" function to Disney's videos brings up this grey screen during the final 5-10 seconds of the video. Freakin annoying.
I enjoyed the short though. Really glad they got some artists from Sym-Bionic Titan for this, as the quality of the background art is up there with a number of the CN/Warner-born toons. Looks really nice, especially against the (admittedly vastly different) old-timey character design they chose. The flash animation is decent as well... it works okay for Mickey and the gang.
