Well it's not really new. But I doubt most of you knew it had existed.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/

What is it? It's a Power Puff Girl fan comic featuring characters from Dexter's Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Samurai Jack, Invader Zim, and many other shows.

I'll show you each page that has a reference to a particular show.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=0

As seen on the cover page, there is Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles from the Power Puff Girls show. As well as a tiny image of Mojo Jojo in the corner. Then there as seen is Samurai Jack from Samurai Jack (He's the one with the sword, incase you were clueless). And Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory. (Easy to identify with his red hair, glasses, gloves, and scientist coat)

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=1

On this page, you get to see Professor Utonium, even though you don't get a clear view of him. You also get to know what city they are in. Which is Megaville. You'll understand why it's called Megaville soon enough.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=2

On this page you do get a clear view of Professor Utonium.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=3

Incase you still didn't know that these girls are the power puff girls, this image should be good enough.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=10

In this page, Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory is fully revealed.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=26

On this page, you get an introduction of Super Saiyan Buttercup. Actually it's just Buttercup parading about as a super saiyan and is a joke upon the addiction certain children have to certain shows.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=27

On this page there is move evidence of it being a DBZ parody.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=28

And on this page a little taste of a different parody.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=33

On this page Courage the Cowardly Dog is most appropriately introduced.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=36

On this page you are told that the teacher's name is Jack, and is quite clearly Samurai Jack by his appearance and character.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=42

On this page, Billy and Mandy from the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy are introduced as well as Otto from Time Squad is introduced.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=50

On this page, Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot is introduced.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=51

And on this page, the Rowdy Ruff Boys are introduced.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=53

On this page you get to see Weasel from I am Weasel.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=57

On this page you get to see Tootie from The Fairly OddParents and an image of Timmy Turner from the Fairly OddParents.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=60

On this page you can clearly see Dib and Gaz from Invader Zim.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=62

On this page you can clearly see Ed,Edd,and Eddy from Ed,Edd,and Eddy.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=64

On this page you get to see Zim and Gir from Invader Zim.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=65

On this page you see a familiar face from Medabots, Samantha leader of the Screws.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=69

On this page you get to see another familiar face, Mandark from Dexter's Laboratory. You get to hear from Mojo Jojo, a reference to the Justice League, Teen Titans, and Men in Black. Which might mean they might also be in this series.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=102

On this page you get to see Larry and Tuddrussel from Time Squad.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=103

On this page you get to see Cosmo and Wanda from the Fairly OddParents and you get to see Cow from Cow and Chicken.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=105

On this page you get to see an online conversation between Dexter and Coop from Megas XLR.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=107

On this page you get to see Coop from Megas XLR and an image of Jamie and Kiva.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=120

On this page you get to see Dexter use a lightsaber and Mandark Use a Twin-edge Lightsaber. (Both features from Star Wars)

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=127

And here you see Grim from the the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Deedee (though king of hard to tell) from Dexter's Laboratory.

    http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=144

On this page you get to see the Golden Android from the Justice League and Betty from that Super Atomic Betty show thing.

This doujinshi was made by Bleedman, whom I guess might be part Japanese base on his ability to draw very anime like.

Anyways if you are into crazy mangas that are full of a ton or so characters and that you are a fan to atleast one of these shows, then this is the one for you.

Yea, I think almost everyone here knows about this. There's even a discussion in the video game forum about the video game.

I'm really liking the Billy and Mandy comic Bleedman's making, though.

Ah yes, Bleedman. I knew of his work, but I was unaware he had a website outside of DevianArt. Thanks for the heads-up.

When your network is a no-no (IE not that good bar a few shows), then remind yourself of good writing and great "animation" by visting Bleedmans' nest. I'm enjoying the Grim story more than his rather clustered PPG work so far (it seems to be becoming more of a Dexters' Lab wet dream). I'm a huge fan of the fan pairing of Mandy/Grim

I give Bleedman points for effort (he puts a lot more into it than most other fans do) but it boils down to about the same as bad fanfiction. Pass.

Bleedman pays attention to every show hes' ever watched included in that manga and throws in large and small continuity nods from PPG, Dexter, Grim, etc that die hards pick up instantly, I would not call that "bad fanfiction", as the nods serve the story. The mary sues are a put off (I rationed that "Bell" was Bunny reincarnated but I was told it was not the case at all, so I'm back to being annoyed with it), but not so much that I dont' appreciate a good doujinshi getting its' props. Even on Wikipedia.

The storylines of both the PPG Manga and the Grim Tales are almost exactly what I would expect if CN gave permission to do half of that stuff. The characters are true to the source material. This stuff is ten times better than "Juniper Lee", "Imaginary Friends", and includes all of the best cartoons still on it (C: KND, Grim) in roles that dont' overshadow nor intrude on the main characters (Blossom and Dexters' near entire cast), my only complaint is that its' becoming more about Dexter and Medabots than the Powerpuff Girls.

First, it's not a manga, or a doujinshi. Despite how much he might want to be, he's not Japanese; he's Filipino.

Second, I call it bad fanfiction because it incorperates all the elements that are apparent in bad fanfiction. Characters acting out-of-character? Check. Crossovers galore? Check. Illogical or just plain bad shipping? Check. Mary Sues? Check. Home made characters? Check. All we need is an author insertion and some slash and we'll have all our bases covered.

But like I said, I give him points for taking the time to draw all the details out and color it, rather than just type it up in Microsoft Word and post it on his site. It's just nothing that interests me.

None of them have shown to be out of character

Plenty of animated series have had crossovers if they exist in the same universe, and in the CN ad bumpers, all of the characters share the same community (this is obviously a joke set up, but hey, its' the most real I've seen get to showing a shared universe)

Blossom and Dex? Blossom had a Dexter doll in a small scene of an episode in their series, Coosie is acknowledged in another episode. Dex was famous for the "Omlei Du Fromage" incident, even if it the former scenes are meant to be an in-joke nod by the animators, the best writers can take that and make them substance. It-makes-sense.

Fair enough, but if this were animated by the Network, your opinion would probably swing the other way to Sunday because it got on the air, as a movie or series. I have seen far too many shows on CN with worse writing and characters get on the air in its' stead. That wouldnt' be a bad idea to commision this guy to do a mutli-purpose crossover production. This over Juniper and Code Lyoko? Yes SIR.

I've read the comics and I really enjoy reading them. I really like how Bleedman is able to draw the characters from my favorite characters in his unique style. ;)

Amusingly enough though, I just googled for 'doujinshi', and Bleedman's comic is the first result.

My god, the art is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Whoo! Beautiful beautiful stuff. The writing's not as strong, but the whole thing is soooo FUN. Thanks so much for taking the time and trouble to post all those links!

I really gotta firm up on my Paintshop Pro skills. I'm planning on doing something similar to Bleedman's site, but I'm still mostly hand-inking, hand-coloring everything. I'm up on most computer programs, but the art programs aren't something I used to be into because I like wielding an actual paintbrush better than moving a mouse around. I was going to get into Photoshop, but then my brother, who's got his own website, told me that Paintshop Pro is just about as good as Photoshop or Illustrator but a lot cheaper. We'll see...

I consider Bleedman to be something of a guilty pleasure: committing to art and colour the veritable smorgasbord of every cartoon character and angsty plot we all imagined inside our geeky, fan-fictiony minds. The art's beautiful, the writing's sub-standard, and I don't mind a smidge.

Actually, I wouldn't call Bell a Mary Sue yet. To count as a real Mary Sue, you must be able to outdo all other characters with no good reason at everything you do.

So far, Bell has only been shown taking on *one* of the girls, and then taking a merciless spanking from her creator. I'd say there is insufficent evidence to say she's a Mary Sue at this point.

I've been keeping up with his comic for some time. Generally, I find them decent to read. His artwork is admittably more enjoyable then the story. The PPG story is nothing I feel is too strong except for the case of Dexter, one I enjoyed, and the Grim Tales has a far more better storyline then his other comic, but generally, it's a decent read.

Maybe it's just me, but I would LOVE to see an animated toon along the lines of Bleedman's work. Characters we all know redesigned as anime and interacting with each other. It would be The.Best.Crossover.Ever. :D
