I hadn't seen this mentioned anywhere, but a clip directed by series creator John Dilworth was posted on Vimeo two weeks back. From the watermark, it looks like Turner Asia Pacific is doing some sort of all-CG project with Courage, but this is all I can find. Anyone have any other information?

That looks pretty cool, would be nice to see more, not to mention something new with Courage after all these years. Wonder if it's an anniversary special or something.

I remember seeing that a few days ago. Courage and company don't look too out of place in CG. I wonder if this will amount to anything?

It seems that it is a 8 minute short coproduced with Spain and China (perhaps intented for the foreing market, much in the vein of "Johnny goes to Bollywood" I guess). Some more info there: http://www.filmfestivalarizona.com/.../2014-AIFF-catalog...
    (the relevant paragraph):

    "The Fog of Courage
    John R. Dilworth, Spain/Hong Kong/USA, 2013, 8 min.
Only Courage the Cowardly Dog can save his human, Muriel, from the dreaded Fog. "

It looks a bit weird. (I never really like CGI humans actually. That's why I preferred Green Lantern TAS above Beware the Batman)

And Boing Spain (a Turner channel which airs CN shows in Spanish) and CN Taiwan still air Courage every day! So it's probably still popular over there.
However, CN Hong Kong doesn't air it anymore and the rest of China can't watch Cartoon Network at all... :/

So this is a co-production between Spain and the REPUBLIC of China (Taiwan)?

That doesn't look too bad. I hope they play it in the US.

I think a continuation of Courage in CG like this would be a great idea.

I remember the courage episodes that ended with a CGI courage bowing and smiling before a velvet curtain. So this animation isn't too out of place for Courage.

Let's not forget "Return the slob! Or suffer my curse..." and those freaky creatures from Perfect.

Oh, yes. I remember that end title. It used to freak me out when I first saw it, but my fears got away.

On-Topic: The 37-second short preview was pretty good, but pretty freaky too. The fog's face was detailed too much.

Did you expect a toned-down Courage the Cowardly Dog?

I never got feared by CTCD.
ON: It looks pretty decent, it emulated CTCD really well, and probably it's more advanced than the end card seen above.

Wow, I never thought we'd see another Courage cartoon again. And a really good-looking one, at that! The transition to CGI is pretty impressive.

I really hope Cartoon Network airs this in the US and doesn't make it a foreign exclusive. It would be great to air around Halloween.

When Eustace looks straight in the camera in 2D, his chin turns in another direction. But in CGI, his chin goes straigt to the center. That also happened in the video game CN Racing.

Speaking of Eustace, does he have a new VA?
