...And it's region-locked. Great...
Are all of them region locked or just Grossology?
Grossology is region locked? Here in Chile I was able to load episode 1.
Man, Donkey Kong Country has aged real bad. The corny songs and writing are bad enough, but the primitive CGI is really hard to watch these days. I remember watching this when it was new and thinking it was amazing, but now I can barely sit through the opening.
TBH, even when it first came out I hated it, but that may be because I just don't like songs in action cartoons, and I remember always fast-forwarding the songs on my VCR.
How about "NELVANAMÉ" (which is the name I've for the last decade\so called the TV specials preceding
the film "ROCK & RULE" (1983))? That's what I'd like to see.
I wonder if they'll bring Di-Gata Defenders out too, I never saw much of the second season and I'd love to catch up on it.
They now have Oh No! It's An Alien Invasion.
That's certainly not "retro" ... or available in Canada.
Grossology! What an amazing cartoon!
@Daikun: It works fine here in Belgium.
I wonder if they are aware that some episodes of "Cadillacs and Dinosaurs" are marked "private" and can't be viewed...looks like an error on their part, because I don't see why those episodes (from the middle of the season) would not be watchable, but they let you watch episodes from the start and end of that season.
Let's hope that channel puts up the late 1970's-early 1980's animated specials Nelvana produced - "A Cosmic Christmas", "The Devil and Daniel Mouse", "Intergalatic Thanksgiving", "Romie-O and Julie-8", "Easter Fever", "Take Me Up To The Ball Game", "The Special Magic of Herself the Elf", the 1984 Get Along Gang pilot, and the Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears specials.
They've reuploaded episodes 6,7 and 8.
I would really be happy to see most of these show up on the channel. Been ages that I've seem a few of the holiday specials
Would be happier if they finally released Cadillacs/Dinosaurs on DVD...
I'm personally not sure about the Strawberry Shortcake specials (the 4th, 5th, and 6th ones*) that Nelvana made. While it's true that they made them (and while American Greetings owns the characters), I'm not so sure who really owns the rights to those specials.
*The 1st and 3rd ones were made by what is now known as "Fred Wolf Films" (original 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), the 2nd was made by Perpetual Motion Pictures, a company that (as far as I know) usually only makes/made commercials.
They now have 6teen.
The channel recently added 6Teen to their playlist! Including the never before aired in the US episode Enter the Dragon!
Along with Franklin and Little Bear.
