    My wish list:

    1. Jana of the Jungle: H-B asked Doug Wildey to create their own jungle heroine after Rima appeared on Super Friends the previous year (and would return 2 years after Jana). If you've ever wondered where the creators of Xena got the idea for the chakram, this is it.

    2. The Adventures of Superboy (Filmation 1966-70): After being in legal limbo for SOOOOO long, this would be the last DC-Filmation entry to be released on DVD. Janet Waldo's only job for Filmation is here, as she voiced Lana Lang opposite the late Bob Hastings as Clark Kent/Superboy.

BTW: Let's stop with the manufactured-on-demand restrictions and get this out for the general public's consumption, ok?

Since the Filmation Tarzan DVD comes out on DVD in June, why couldn't Warner Archive release on DVD the complete series of Jana of the Jungle at the same time?

For those not on the up end of news first off: The New Adventures of Gilligan did come out last month. Devlin came out this week. And The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn comes out next month. So scratch any of those off these lists.

While Tarzan is a tie-in, Jana isn't that connected directly. So that's probably not a tie-in discussion. Jana will probably arrive one day herself. But I wouldn't have expected it the same time as Tarzan.

As far as "limitations", the only one I can think of is the international shipping if you aren't a US citizen. That is an issue. But outside of that what limits are there? Unless you mean the concerns of the most separatist of tech sites. In those case their fear mongering looks much less credible seven years into the program.

And as far as the "general public" It is 2016. I would imagine most people who are still purchasing home media consider doing to Amazon or Itunes (in digital) would be a normal part of live by now. Not a limitation or restriction.

Jana of the Jungle was originally joined with Godzilla in 1978, but the DVD rights to the '78 Godzilla do not lie with WB directly, so it is likely Jana will see the light of day on DVD by herself.

Because they're not connected. WB had to get clearance from the Burroughs estate in order to do a DVD release for Tarzan. Jana of the Jungle is a H-B original.
