If anything, I hope this has the same tone as The Batman vs Dracula. Undeniably kid-friendly, but with just enough atmosphere and spooks to give it some edge.
I'd be very on board for that. I haven't seen for a long time but I was pretty fond of that movie. Speaking of movies, hopefully this will actually feel like one.

True, but that's not saying much.
That'd be great, or even something like Mask of the Phantasm. After the disappointment of Marvel's last couple of movies, I'm looking forward to this. I love the title.
Noticed this on Amazon, the movie will be available starting October 21st.
Plus some more details:
- A description:
- Crew & Cast:
Apparently the movie is "not rated", but at the same time it's listed under the "Kids & Family" category...
And remember the world premiere of the movie is tomorrow Sunday morning at NYCC, for anyone attending.
Wow..... That Hulk:When Monsters Dwell poster looks good, I wonder who will voice who in the animated movie.
Hi! I don't visit the Marvel Animation Forum often, but I saw that ComicMix as posted a press release about this. The release includes this bit of misinformation: "Marvel’s Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell, the first animated, feature-length film centered on Hulk..."
I guess the PR flacks just expect us to forget about the Lionsgate animated movies such as Planet Hulk (which was also Unrated, by the way).
Well, that answers who voices who. Even if Tatasciore's and O'Brien's roles were already known.
Thanks for posting this. It's pretty disappointing when the first real bit of marketing for the movie isn't even correct.
Why does Hulk look so old? It's probably the sagging on the side of his mouth, but it looks....off.
*sigh* I wish they were more creative with these storylines...
Marty Isenberg as the writer has certainly upped my expectations as far as the writing quality .
So it looks like we're getting a completely new Howling Commando's team in this movie, one more reminiscent of the current roster in the comics, though given how long their series lasted I question the need for promoting them .
Though at least Man-Thing is still in there, and it'll be nice to have some female presence with Nina Price in the movie, and hopefully the rest of the team is used well and prove enjoyable in the movie .
Not really sure what to think of a zombie Jasper Sitwell though .
They got Hulk, Banner, and Strange's VA's back, but pretty disappointing that they couldn't get Mark Hamill back as Nightmare .
Well, at least it's timed well with the season .
Looks like they've completely redesigned Dr. Strange. I wonder how long before this design is incorporated back into the cartoons ?
Yep, And I wonder how long before they redesign Hawkeye, Spider-Man and Falcon into their MCU counterpart's appearances
The roster of characters looks interesting. I could be wrong, but is this going to be Man Thing's first appearance outside the comics?
Nope. That would be Super Hero Squad, unless we're counting the movie (and let's not) .
He's actually the only carryover from the previous animated Howling Commando's, as far as continuity is concerned.
Okay, forgot about that. I take it the movie isn't worth watching? I know next to nothing about it.
Wow..... I wonder how Dr.Strange and The Hulk would interact with The New Howling Commandos team.
ComicBookResources has some details regarding what was revealed about the movie at the NYCC panel:
Reminder: The movie's world premiere is today at NYCC, starting at at 10:30AM.
Note: For those attending NYCC, please use this thread and spoiler tags if you want to discuss the movie in great detail. A proper talkback will be posted on October 21st, the day the movie will be officially released digitally.
Missed this earlier, but Marvel released a clip from the movie on YouTube:
Hmm... Not bad. I kinda was hoping for a better animation quality though. But I still have yet to see the final product, only then will I judge it for it's merits.
Looking pretty good so far .
I like Strange's new design, even if I can't for the life of me get what that skunk stripe in his hair is for, and Nightmare looks suitably creepy .
I also like that they're actually addressing the Banner/Hulk dichotomy/enmity rather then just glossing it over as it feels like the cartoons have been doing for the most part.
