From D23 Expo:
Since when was Taskmaster a good guy? And for that matter MODOK seen as an actual threat.
I'm kind of "eh" on seeing MODOK as a villain again, but Taskmaster in an Avengers cartoon should be pretty fun .
I hope we get to see him fight Black Panther .
I like villain Taskmaster more too tbh. Ultimate Spiderman had him right.
It's a more recent development. Like 2011 or so, they made him a sleeper agent for SHIELD. I think they put him in the Secret Avengers too around that time.
Taskmaster would probably be a good fit for the Cabal .
They kinda need somebody who can match Black Panther in terms of fighting skill after their last confrontation with him solo...
I wonder if there will be some kind of rivalry between Taskmaster and Ant-Man...
I just remembered the enmity between Taskmaster and Scott Lang in the comics. I would love to see that get adapted .
I hope they give Taskmaster his nasally "Noo Yahk" accent from Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
I'm hoping they get Clancy Brown back to reprise Taskmaster .
Taskmaster in the CABAL could be like Sportsmaster's role in The Light.
I can pretty much go with Hercules being Recasted since the days of USA/Hulk is long behind us since Marvel Likes to recast nowadays in AA.
Pretty much in a Perfect World, Christopher Sabat would be the Ideal Voice of Marvel's Hercules.
Well they did recently get Logan Miller to reprise his role as Sam Alexander Nova so I could see Coleman returning as Hercules as well. We'll find out for sure when the episode airs or if they release a preview or something before that.
Isn't he a Dallas based actor, one who solely does anime?
Yes, but that's why I said a Perfect world.
Also I just realized that the Show is gonna be 5 years old next year.
I would've love to see Taskmaster and Captain America fight
Here's all the Avengers stuff revealed at the panel, via Newsarama's live coverage. I do find it weird none of this was posted on the Marvel site.
I guess I can understand regarding the original team as "Marvel's Heaviest Hitters," but if we're comparing versatility and overall strength, doesn't the New Avengers group seem stronger ?
No because they don't have Black Widow who can punch out Absorbing Man and Princess Zarda in this universe.
But they do have Black Panther, who's like Iron Man and Captain America combined but with 10x more competence .
