IGN has an exclusive clip from the "Civil War" story-arc.
Plus an official synopsis:
Okay, that clip actually does kind'a make sense... granted I also think it's a copout, but still it does... kind'a make sense.
I don't get it. Why spoil the "big reveal", hell, even the whole conflict resolution in a press release?
There is so much wrong with that...
Ultron: "I was totally doing important stuff off-screen guys! My name being the subtitle of the season is completely justified!"
OMG! I was right xD so... this is stupid like one of my "fanfics"?
Huh, this actually sounds more like the comic book storyline then I was expecting, or as Wacker had led us to believe...just with a hapless Inhuman in place of Nitro .
I wonder...could the Inhuman that loses control be Inferno ?
Why do they need to pass a Registration Act to encompass the Inhumans? Besides the fact that a Regstrication Act is a big deal for the Civil War storyline, doesn't the Super Powers Act they already established do basically the same thing ?
Are they just trying to re-appropriate the Mutant Registration Act for the Inhumans ?
I can see the main team not supporting this, but...would the actual Mighty Avengers really agree to work for Marsh on forcing registration on all Inhumans? Especially Ms. Marvel ?
Songbird is on the Mighty Avengers? Cool! I think she's definitely earned becoming an Avenger .
Though it makes me wonder what that means for the rest of the Thunderbolts ?
It's also kind of funny that we have the last major Carol Danvers VA voicing a character on the same team as Captain Marvel .
"no one expects Ultron to make the final move." Well yeah, he's barely shown up this season .
Well, some already guessed what was revealed in the clip. It was fairly predictable but I agree a press release shouldn't have spoiled this much.
Still, I think it's pretty cool we're getting this many characters together for the finale.
Maybe next season they'll be able to beat-out EMH in-terms of character count for the season finale ?
That clip was very cool. Hulk and Captain Marvel was thinking the same thing I thought when Marsh popped up. I can't wait and I'm sure we will see more characters and alot of actions than the ones in the clip of this epic 2-Hour event.
Someone pick up that phone...
BECAUSE YOUR BOY CALLED TRUMAN BEING ULTRON.
Sorry about the spoiler.
How strong is Captain Marvel compared to Hulk and Thor?
Eh...it depends, especially on the writing, but she should be about on par with them if she has enough stored energy.
In EMH she was able to go toe-to-toe with both Ronan the Accuser and Hulk as Ms. Marvel, and she still has the same powerset here.
She'd probably be stronger in Binary mode, but I'm not sure if the show will ever address that...
That's what I would like to see. Hopefully she goes toe to toe with one of them during this event. Or even Blackbolt, Gorgon, or Triton.
From the looks of it, her main rival for this event is Captain America, building on their issues in her debut episode.
So the Civil War is essentially Cap vs. Cap. And Carol Danvers is once again on the wrong side of a Civil War .
Well, regardless of how the story will actually play out, it looks like at least the fight scenes will be pretty entertaining.
Inhumans Registration Act?? loooooool. Marvel animation has lost the plot.
There's an interview on Marvel.com with Vice President of Animation Stephen Wacker and Supervising Producer Marsha Griffin about the Civl War arc. Possible spoilers.
There are also some vague hints for next season's Secret Wars.
