A lettered preview for the Ant-Man prelude.
My takeaways from this preview:
- Peggy is still awesome even in old age .
- Scott's Ant-Man costume...is apparently the same exact suit that Hank wore .
- I wonder if we'll see Janet in this issue ?
Those were rubber bullets... right, Peg?
Well...they weren't for Cap .
1/29: Ha ha! Had a feeling you'd say that.

So remember that black suited Ant-Man variant that was shown in the teaser forever ago? Nobody could place it and some of us thought it might be Cross?
That's awesome to hear!
Ah, I guess they'll be having a tired old Pym making jokes about being too old for this stuff and getting his ass kicked around.
In an interview with Will Corona Pilgrim, there's some unlettered previews of the Ant-Man Prelude #2. So it looks like there's a HYDRA officer in East Berlin.

While it'll be cool to see Pym in action as Ant-Man in his prime, a part of me really wants to know if we'll actually get some info on Janet from this .

We'll know in less than a week's time. If not Part 2, it sounds like the last official tie in, the Infinite Comic will.
3/4: Looks like an Infinite Comic starring Scott released yesterday.
Marvel's Ant-Man Infinite Comic #1 Scott Lang: Small Time
Another prequel about Hank Pym looks to be in the works.
Well, at least they're making prequel comics about Pym as Ant-Man. That's something I'm happy to see .
I wonder if they might start doing some prequel comics with Janet as Wasp post-Ant Man, once her situation (whatever it may be) is revealed in the movie?
Is it? Or is it the cover artist mimicking the design from the movie?
There's also the Art of hardcover coming in June.
It's Will Corona who does the movie tie-ins and movie inspired books so I'm assuming it's another one.
You seem to be a big fan of Wasp. I suppose the Janet's status is one of those things they're trying to keep lock tight until the movie premieres.
Presumably, she was a S.H.I.E.L.D. consultant, too. Maybe even an Inhuman trying to live a normal life before then.
Good point. It's probably one of those movie inspired ones.
I admit to being a big fan of both Hank and Janet, so I'm always on the lookout for information about those two especially with info about Janet being as tight-lipped as it is. I guess I can also sound a little overenthusiastic about it as well .
Hmm...I guess they could make Janet an Inhuman, but I think it would be easier to just explain her powers through Pym Particles. That way it would be easier to make Hope the new Wasp without the need for Terrigen Mist .
3/18: True. Though it does sound like the writing on the wall is Janet might have been killed during a later experiment with those particles. It could explain or foreshadow why in the Prelude Hank was so adamant only he wear the suit.
I only threw in the Inhuman bit because of what's going on in AOS and what I skimmed about Janet's Ultimates version.
3/20: Bobby Cannavale revealed his character is the husband of Scott's ex-wife.
3/23: Seems in reshoots they're going to add back in Scott being a con man, something from Wright's drafts.
3/27: Both Slattery and Atwell briefly commented on their cameo appearance in Ant-Man. Atwell only said
First pic of Corey Stoll suited up as Yellowjacket.
