Hmph, I liked it better when he was less ugly.
I like this look for the Hulk a lot. It looks like a nice medium between the two different movie versions we've had.
And is it just me or does Mark Ruffalo look a little like Marlon Brando in that background profile image?
Here a first glimpse look at the post-credits tease of The Avengers from the final scene in Captain America:
Here some screen grabs from the partial Avengers trailer:
Avi Arad has put an end to recent rumors that we may see Spider-Man turn up in The Avengers:
Good I don't want a cameo of this verison of Spider-Man in the Avengers anyway.
Wait people actually thought Spidey was going to be in Avengers? So much so that Avi Arad had to deny it?
God damn that's funny.
I guess they based their assumptions from the "New Avengers" and current "Heroic Age" era where Spider-man was an official member of the Avengers although there was a Avengers story done around 1966-67 where Spidey was offered to join the Avengers by getting the Hulk but once Spidey discovered then Hulk was Dr. Banner, he decided to let him away.
Btw, I mentionned once in a Hulk forum but does the Avengers could be retitled in the UK? There was a British spy series known as "The Avengers" who was very popular in the UK during that time as well as in the United States starring Patrick McNee and Diana Rigg.
I don't think it'll be renamed as such but they might put a sub-title on it to distinguish it. I doubt it'd be a problem considering this'll be marketed out the wazoo and even if someone stepped into a cinema and only saw the name Avengers screen list there'd be a massive cardboard stand with all the Avengers on it, posters, and what-not all around the place. There's very little chance someone could mistake the two.
Now someone in marketing might not think so as they're not known for doing smart decisions.
Don't you think there's likely to be more conflict from the 1998 movie that was based on the TV show...?
Perhaps, but since that movie bombed, I guess Warner Bros, who did that movie, might close their eyes for this one.

Cripes, even when Chris has an incredibly goofy smile on his face, you can't help but love him.
Great looking pics, all! He can't be saying 'Avengers Assemble' in the last pic, is he?
Cap fighting some stuntmen in mocap costumes .
Alien invasion, of course. I just hope Whedon can do this justice.
Well, it turned out my vacation to Cleveland this week was conveniently scheduled for this week, so I checked out the set about an hour on Wednesday, but went back for four hours today. It was really cool. All I saw on Wednesday was extras running out of a building, but today, I saw Captain America and Thor battle it out from afar. It was actually kinda funny, since the only way people could recognize Chris Hemsworth was his hair. I've got this one really good shot though of Captain America (I believe it was his stunt double, not Chris Evans, although I did see Evans) standing on a car! I also saw a few of the mo-cap guys when they broke for lunch, as well as close-ups on both Evans' and Hemsworth's stunt doubles. It was really fun, and it got me even more excited for May!
Here some photos of Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth on the set of the Avengers:
Marvel/Disney should be filming this in Manhattan in New York City and not in Cleveland.
