Interesting, does anyone know the runtime on this? I'm hoping for ten minutes.

Interesting, so the first of these shorts that Marvel has been planning focuses on a recurring character than a new hero...

Which is fine by me, I dig Gregg as Coulson. I've been curious how this will connect TIH into The Avengers.

Wait, that was it? That was the short? I thought it was a preview of the short and the full thing will be on the Thor dvd. Ughh.

Interesting clip with Coulson and Sitwell. I think I remember on the Incredible Hulk commentary there was talk of a deleted scene/or scrapped scene where at the end, Blonsky is human again, in a box, under the auspices of Ross.

Nah, it's described as a "short clip from the new one shot"

Great idea out of Marvel, should provide me with more incentive to get the DVD's that way.

Clip was a hoot, is it safe to say that
is the "Consultant?" Are they going to have any bigger names in these short films, or focus only on the side-characters? (I'd personally prefer the latter, as it would devote more time to flesh them out.)

No you're right it was just a preview. I hadn't watched it when I checked the run time and thought it was the full thing.

I saw the preview of this one from Comic Con. Pretty cool one, where Coulson's in a convenience store when it's held up. I suppose this will prove he can fight...maybe as a warm up for us to see him in action before The Avengers comes out. Before this one, I don't recall him fighting anyone...but avoiding certain death on Iron Man and Thor?

Also there's at least one neat little reference in this one:

I don't get it. Why does SHIELD want Ross to refuse to release Blonsky? And why do they want to sabotage the debrief?

I guess we'll have to wait until the actual short comes out to find out.

Here's a description of The Consultant

Link: CBM New Deatils on THOR Special Features

Swore it was National Security Council in the comics, but could be wrong or there is a WSC in the up to date run of Marvel.

EDIT: So The Consultant got leaked online, if anyone wants to watch it while you can: The Consultant via CBM Article

    Basically...this happens

    Thanx for the link, Yojimbo.

I guess their using these to kinda bridge the prior films. Though it still bothers me that there's a time loop from Incredible Hulk to Iron Man 2. I guess this sets up a possible Masters of Evil appearance in a future Avengers or Marvel film. All they need now is Zemo, Enchantress, and a few others.
