I suppose asking for it to be S4 of Evo would be too much?

Marvel does thats why the show is on Itunes and the provider is listed as Marvel so once Disney gets Marvel they can release it on dvd but this guy could also be talking about Spider-man the animated series

I think there's different rights for internet video and DVD though. Because Marvel also released X-Men on the internet while Disney released the DVDs I believe.

There was a rights issue in the US with Marvel's stuff. The issue was between Marvel and Disney...so since Disney BOUGHT Marvel, that should be all cleared up now. So Disney can now start releasing the Marvel cartoons. But Disney has tons of other DVDs to release of their own...so don't expect them to start coming out nearly as quickly as Clearvision puts them out in the UK.

Right now we know for sure that Disney has the home video distribution rights for the 1990's X-Men because Disney owns the original film negatives. But, because of the recent Disney-Marvel announcement, it is most likely that for the internet, Disney allowed Marvel to put the episodes up without any mention of Disney in the credits, because Marvel was becoming one of their divisions, just like Pixar or Touchstone Pictures.

As for X-Men Evolution Warner Brothers only had the home video and broadcast distribution rights, and considering that Marvel has released all those episodes on the internet by themselves, without the "Distributed by Warner Brothers" end credits card, then it is most likely that Warner Brothers is completely out of the picture (plus the fact that the last DVD/VHS of the series by them was released 5 years ago...) and the series is jointly owned by Marvel/Disney and Film Roman or is completely owned by Marvel/Disney, meaning that Marvel and Disney would both be in control of all the ancillary rights.

Just spotted on the CV website that the X-Men episode "Jubilee's Fairytale theatre" has moved from season 5 - Volume 1 to Season 5 - Volume 2, Thumbs up to CV for keeping the 6 "redesigned" episodes together :)
