All the Golden Collection Volume 1 prints exist in SD format only, except for Fast & Furry-Ous (you can tell because the Platinum Collection Volume 1 Blu-Ray print of this short is the exact same brightly colored, heavily-abused DVNRed restored transfer with heavily-DNRed audio as seen in Golden Collection Volume 1). Same goes for the the I Love Tweety Japanese DVD prints, and the 1997/1998 dubbed versions.

All the Golden Collection Volume 2 prints onward do have a HD master, and therefore exist in both SD and HD formats. The SD formats were used for the Golden Collection DVD releases.

However, for some shorts on Looney Tunes Platinum Collection: Volume 3 Blu-Ray/DVD that were previously released from Golden Collection Volume 2 and 3 were re-restored even though their previous Golden Collection master does exist in HD for reasons unknown, and more often, the new restoration appears to have a much darker color. Examples include Little Red Riding Rabbit, A Corny Concerto, Gorilla My Dreams, The Big Snooze, Slick Hare and Walky Talky Hawky.

To conclude, here's the list of shorts which were mastered in darker colors for LTPC (counting only LTGC shorts):
    1. Book Revue, 1945 (LTGC2D4)
    2. Porky in Wackyland, 1938 (LTGC2D3)
    3. You Ought To Be in Pictures, 1940 (LTGC2D4)
    4. Canned Feud, 1949 (LTGC1D4) - previously remastered with its Blue Ribbon version
    5. Gift Wrapped, 1951 (LTGC2D3)
    6. The Foghorn Leghorn, 1947 (LTGC1D4)
    7. Wabbit Twouble, 1941 (LTGC1D1) - but may I'm wrong, but the LTPC transfer looks darker than the GC one.
    8. Rabbit Fire, 1950 (LTGC1D2)
    9. Drip-Along Daffy, 1950 (LTGC1D2)
    10. A Corny Concerto, 1943 (LTGC2D4)
    11. Little Red Riding Rabbit, 1943 (LTGC2D1)
    12. Hair-Raising Hare, 1945 (LTGC1D3)
    13. The Big Snooze, 1946 (LTGC2D1)
    14. A Hare Grows in Manhattan, 1946 (LTGC3D1)
    15. Easter Yeggs, 1946 (LTGC3D1)
    16. Gorilla My Dreams, 1947 (LTGC2D1)
    17. High Diving Hare, 1948 (LTGC1D1)
    18. Bully for Bugs, 1952 (LTGC1D1)
    19. Bugs and Thugs, 1953 (LTGC1D4)
    20. Canary Row, 1949 (LTGC1D4) - previously remastered with its Blue Ribbon version
    21. Guided Muscle, 1955 (LTGC2D2)
    22. Walky Tawky Hawky, 1946 (LTGC3D4)

    If we count Mouse Chronicles:
    23. The Hypo-chondri Cat, 1949 (LTGC1D3) - previously remastered with its Blue Ribbon version

As far as I remember, the Polish/Romanian/Italian menu of LTGC3 release was very differrent.

For someone who doesn't have buy PP 101, here you can see screenshots of the shorts: http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=295553&page=4

And Porky's Hare Hunt (Computer colorized print) was used in Bugs: A Rabbit for all Seasonings special feature.

I'll join the discussion a bit late, but anyway these are the ONLY shorts from GC1 which were actually new masters and so they exist in HD:

    Baseball Bugs
    Long Haired Hare
    What's Up Doc
    Wabbit Twouble
    Rabbit of Seville
    Duck Amuck
    Drip Along Daffy
    The Scarlet Pumpernickel
    Yankee Doodle Daffy
    Porky Chops
    Boobs in the Woods
    Rabbit Fire
    Elmer's Candid Camera
Bugs Bunny and the Three Bears
    Fast and Furry Ous
    Hair Raising Hare
    Haredevil Hare
    For Scent-imental Reasons
    Frigid Hare
    Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid
    Tortoise Wins by a Hare
    Speedy Gonzales
    Daffy Duck Hunt
    Devil May Hare

The rest of them are either the 1998 versions or they were mastered around the same time the Tweety DVDs came out. These versions (from 2000/2001) are extremely rare to see on TV, so there may be more (like Beep Prepared which aired on CN US).

You mean the new-to-DVD B&W Porky Pig cartoons in that Porky Pig DVD are all not restored? Well looks like Warner Home Video saw some potential in releasing the remainder unreleased-on-DVD Looney Tunes shorts for the home video market, but completely unrestored since WB has no more money left to restore the remainder not-yet-restored shorts for DVD/Blu-Ray.

Full list of these rare non-Tweety shorts that have been restored the same time as the I Love Tweety Japanese DVDs in the early-2000s besides Beep Prepared? And how does the 2001 restoration of Beep Prepared look like?

Most of the new-to-disc shorts were restored. Others, even unrestored, still have a great quality.

We were all so excited for the masters to look at least marketable. Some of them have incorrect music and audio. If they aren't going to remaster the pictures, they should at least put the audio from the original negatives back in. Eventually, WB will have to remaster all of them or they will be gone forever. I'm sad to see how lazy WB is becoming.

@LooneyTuney18 They were restored but from interpositive, don't look as great.

@Manuel Lobato Pozo Shut your damn mouth and stop spamming please. It's already hella annoying. I hardly come on the forum because of him.
