It's "can you try". I already told you I'm not sure if they'll let me to.

You guys know how some of the 1998 dubbed versions were released on European VHS' and then reused for DVD? In that case, was Rabbit Fire the only one to receive a new transfer for DVD and not reuse the 1998 transfer when released on DVD?

And doesn't Kit for Cat use the same transfer on DVD from the 1998 transfer. If yes, because they removed the dubbed notice, they may have put back the 1956 BR ending?

EDIT: My Bunny Lies Over the Sea and Ballot Box Bunny also received new transfers.

Are these full shorts? If so, can you please rip them?

Hey Manuel, can you recreate the colorized version of "Hittin The Trail For Hallelujah Land"?

The one that aired on Cartoon Network UK? If so, that one has been there forever?

I thought we were supposed to ignore Manuel's replies. That's one reason why I stopped replying on here.

Rabbit Fire is not the only one to receive a new transfer for DVD. Other examples include Bugs & Thugs, A Star Is Bored, Cheese Chasers, etc.

Apparently there is some confusions between the 1997/1998 Dubbed prints and the restored Golden Collection prints. Actually Kit For Cat, Bully For Bugs, Tweety's S.O.S. use new restored transfers from 2001ish, rather than directly reusing the 1998 restorations.

There are some cases here where the 1997/1998 restorations and the later Golden Collection restorations where the colors are persumed to look alike and are easily confused for each other, but actually they are two separate restorations and they have subtle differences if you look closely at the images. Examples:

    1. The Wild Chase
(Left: 1997 restoration, Right: 2006 restoration)
    TWC 1998 vs 2006.png

    2. Bully For Bugs
(Left: 1998 restoration, Right: 2003 restoration)
    BFB 1998 vs 2003.png

    3. Tweety's S.O.S. [NOTE: The 1998 restoration has darker colors and thicker borders in the opening titles]
(Left: 1998 restoration, Right: 2001 restoration)
    TSOS 1998 vs 2001.png

    4. Muzzle Tough
(Left: 1998 restoration, Right: 2001 restoration)
    MT 1998 vs 2001.png

    5. Bad Ol Putty Tat
(Left: 1998 restoration, Right: 2001 restoration)
    BOPT 1998 vs 2001.png

    6. Kit For Cat [NOTE: The 1998 restoration has the original ending card restored unlike the 2003 restoration]
(Left: 1998 restoration, Right: 2003 restoration)
    KFC 1998 vs 2003.png

    7. Little Red Rodent Hood
(Left: 1998 restoration, Right: 2007 restoration)
    LRRH 1998 vs 2007.png

It should be noted that all 9 Tweety shorts that were given dubbed versions (3 in 1997, 6 in 1998) were all given new restored transfers for the I Love Tweety Japanese DVDs in 2001.

Here are the full list of 1997/1998 restorations released on DVD:

    (a) Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume 1 DVD
    1. High Diving Hare (low-pitched on NTSC DVD)
    2. The Awful Orphan (low-pitched on NTSC DVD)
    3. Early To Bet (low-pitched on NTSC DVD)
    4. The Wearing of the Grin
    5. The Ducksters
    6. Dough for the Do-Do
    7. Deduce You Say
    8. The Foghorn Leghorn
    9. A Broken Leghorn
    10. Water Water Every Hare
    11. Big House Bunny
    12. Rabbit Seasoning
    13. Bunker Hill Bunny
    14. Baton Bunny
    15. Scaredy Cat
    16. Canned Feud (Note: For some reason on the DVD, the LT opening music has been altered with the 1955-1964 variant rather than keeping the original 1946-1955 variant as in the VHS/TV versions of the dubbed version)
    17. Lumber Jerks
    18. Feed The Kitty
    19. Don't Give Up The Sheep
    20. The Hypo-Chondri Cat

    (b) Looney Tunes Super Stars' Porky Pig & Friends: Hilarious Ham DVD
    1. Ant Pasted

    (c) Looney Tunes Mouse Chronicles: The Chuck Jones Collection Blu-Ray/DVD (bonus feature)
    1. Mouse Mazurka

    (d) Splendor Of The Grass DVD (bonus feature)
    1. Beep Prepared

And @Kevin Mo just to let ya know, just because all those TVrips have the 1992-2004 Cartoon Network logo onscreen bug at the top right of the screen and the audio is in English, doesn't mean that they only come from the UK feed. It could also come from other parts of Europe (such as France, Italy, Germany, CEE, Nordic, etc.), or as well as Southeast Asia or Australia and New Zealand. It should be noted that every Cartoon Network and Boomerang channel worldwide (including the USA) has an English audiotrack available, along with a foreign language audiotrack, and CN feeds in countries where English language not being their first language such as France, Italy, Germany, etc. are no exception.
    CN.png
Its just hard to tell which PAL country they came from because all these PAL CN feeds have the same 1992-2004 CN onscreen bug on the top right of the screen before the Cartoon Network City Era rebranding in 2005, unless if they are dubbed in a foreign language.

They're not in full. They're only shown in clips in the documentary.

In France, Stars of Space Jam: Bugs Bunny was, before being released on DVD in 2008 as I said before, released as a VHS under the title "Bugs Bunny : Mon beau lapin" with a different cover. WHV also released on VHS and DVD the From Hare to Eternity VHS in France.

The 1998 restoration of Bad Ol' Putty Tat was released on LTSS: Tweety and Sylvester: Feline Fwenzy in Europe.
And PAL CN TVRips came from Cartoon Network Pan-Europe (France, Italy, UK) as far as I remember.

How do you it comes from Boomerang France, even though the Cartoon Network and Boomerang France HQ DVB TVrips of "A Bone For A Bone", "Aqua Duck", "The Leghorn Blows At Midnight", "The Egg-Cited Rooster", "Run Run Sweet Roadrunner", "Sheep Ahoy", "Double Or Mutton", "Tease For Two", "Woolen Under Where", "Compressed Hare", "Hare-Breadth Hurry", "Road To Andalay", "See Ya Later Gladiator" and "Speedy Ghost To Town" in MKV format you share with me and NewBogus only have the English audiotrack and don't have the secondary French audiotrack present?

Is there a redrawn 1995 dubbed version of Wake Up the Gypsy in Me?

@A-Cecil Because I have more of those rips. They're the same prints from Boomerang FR. For an example Gonzales Tamales has the altered ending card and so on.

That is true someone may have synced the audio or used another English audio throughout the nation. I assume it came from Boomerang UK though since its an old recording and many TV networks didn't have SAP in the 1990s.

Also, you can change the information that has been mislead by many of us on the Looney Tunes Wiki @A-Cecil.

Was the Golden Collection only released in SD?
