I agree with you about the album artwork. It's eye-catching, I'll give it that, but I'm not digging it. Lol.

And if "Born This Way" and "Judas" were good, I can't wait to hear what the rest of the album sounds like.

Lady Gaga responds to all you hatas who say she copied Express Yourself. Well, more like, "finally snaps and goes off on you."

    http://gawker.com/#!5793838/lady-gaga-calls-madonna-comparisons-retarded

When the interviewer first broached the tender subject — observing that "a bit of ['Born This Way'] does sound quite a lot" like Madonna's song — Gaga vehemently denied having knowingly referenced it, saying, "I am not stupid enough to put out a record and be that moronic."
But the interviewer pressed on, and that's when she really went off:
No. Listen to me. Why the (EXPLETIVE)? I'm a songwriter...Why would I try to put out a song and think I'm getting one over on everybody? That's retarded. If you put the songs next to each other, side by side, the only similarities are the chord progression. It's the same one that's been in disco music for the last 50 years. Just because I'm the first (EXPLETIVE)ing artist in 25 years to think of putting it on Top 40 radio, it doesn't mean I'm a plagiarist. It means I'm (EXPLETIVE)ing smart. Sorry.

I'm a fan of her first album. I'm a huge fan of her EP. But I am a little concerned with her second album. The first two singles didn't do it for me. As a fan, I'm aware that the singles are usually her weakest songs. So, I'll check out the album nonetheless. But I'm having reservations.

It seems like she knows that people have caught on. It's about time.

Gaga has released the video for "Judas." It's a fun clip, sexy and irreverent with some great costumes. The kind of big production and dancing video you used to see in the 80s. I know Madonna comparisons are something Gaga will never get away from, and people are already comparing this to "Like A Prayer," but she's clearly casting herself in the Mary Magadalene role here, not the Madonna role.

Don't show it to your Catholic grandmother. She will die.

I probably will. There's usually nothing on at 9 pm on a Saturday, so I'll tune in.

Now I can see why this is on HBO. Between telling her fans to "dance mother****ers" and saying she has the "biggest dick out there", she certainly doesn't hold back.

Edit: And Lady Gaga proved the haters wrong that she can't sing live. The "Born This Way" acapella during the credits was great. And I'm not the biggest fan of her.

Good concert special. It didn't mean as much since I quite recently went to her concert, but it was great. I hope it comes out on DVD. :p

I recorded it on my DVR, so I'm not too concerned with a DVD.

Judging by the track list it seems the focus of this new album is to target religion.

No, Gaga is pro-religion, not anti-religion. She is, of course, against certain intolerances that some people sometimes use religion to support, I think it's obvious which ones. If you have a problem with those intolerances being attacked then, yeah, you'll have a problem with her.

I kind of thought the chorus of Born This Way was a dead giveaway:

"I'm beautiful in my way, 'cause God makes no mistakes
I'm on the right track baby, I was born this way!"

I like it! Very 80s, and over a different sound for her.
