Its okay that the show moves to NickJr sounds more better than Nicktoons.
they are going to have to change the rating to reflect the change
so it would be TV-Y instead of TV-Y7
Winx Club actually aired on Nick Jr. with a TV-Y7 rating before. Also, Disney Junior has aired movies that has been/are rated TV-PG.
I figured that TeenNick, or even Nicktoons would have aired Kuu Kuu Harajuku repeats not Nick Jr. given it's a preschool channel, but whatever.
It was announced at the upfront that Kuu Kuu Harajuku has been renewed for a second season.
Wow, I honestly didn't expect it to be renewed all things considered.
Well that renewal was certainty something I wasn't favorable on. Though I think it is a move that seems fair for them to make.
Premieres move to Nick Jr. starting April 7. It will air Fridays at 7:30 P.M.
Ugh, I had a feeling this would happen.....................
So why did they even bother renewing it then!?
"Nickelodeon: We've got to have...MONEY..."
maybe it wasn't Nickelodeon's USA original idea to renew, but I wonder if this show is popular internationally, other Canadian Nick or YTV or any Canadian network renews the show, but Nickelodeon USA will follow suit. Sending to NickJr maybe it's because it attracts little girl demo. Same thing happened with Winx Club in the past. Wonder why it didn't do same for Regal Academy....
Especially since their other girl-targeted Rainbow property, Mia and Me, aired exclusively on Nick Jr.
Pretty sure on one of the production company's websites it said that season 2 was in production and season 3 was in pre-production, way before that article on Nick renewing it came out.
Looks like there's a Kuu Kuu Harajuku page on the Nick Jr. website.
Although the Nick.com page is however still up.
Oh great, Nick Jr. has become Disney Junior, in terms of airing a show from its sister channel.
Eh, I guess it was gonna happen eventually, anyway. Makes me wonder why Nick dumped the show there though.
Because it was either this or Nicktoons, and we ALL know what the currrent state of Nicktoons is...
Yeah, Nicktoons really screwed Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V over, but Nick Jr.'s been kind to Mia and Me, and even Winx Club when they got it. They blew through Season 7 (which I'm surprised they even got) in about three months (compared to three years with Season 6). With that kind of treatment, I hope they do get Season 8 when it's ready. I can only imagine KKH getting good treatment there.
And if Regal Academy gets another season, I hope it goes there too.
Yep, Nick.Jr somehow manages to be a better place, which would look like a better channel for most of these acquisitions.
