Shane Glines posted rough designs for Deadshot, and color notes for Two-Face.
I can't be the only one wondering if this might finally give us an idea as to what Two-Face on Beware the Batman would've looked like.
His unscarred side even resembles Harvey Dent on that show !
Two face looks alright, akin to his appearance in the DCAU. Deadshot on the other hand...eh...not my favorite version of him I've seen.
Shane Glines posted a rough design for Bizarro.
I love how he's wearing the classic Superman suit with spiky hair and a big no. 1 button .
It's all just so Bizarro .
I noticed Glines mentions in the comments, the final design doesn't have the No. 1 button.
Edit: Rachel Kimsey and Joanne Spracklen recorded for the show today.
Darn, I wish he'd kept it in .
Sounds like we're getting another episode with Supergirl...and with Wonder Woman to boot .
Now that I think about it, has Mr. Glines released any designs for Circe ?
Cartoon Network has provided May 2017 episode schedule details for Justice League Action, and it looks to be an entire month of new episodes. Continue below for more!
Saturday, May 6: “Plastic Man Saves the World” – Plastic Man feels shuffled off to the side as the Justice League battles Brainiac so he takes it upon himself to infiltrate the alien’s ship on his own and thwart the villain’s plans.
Saturday, May 13: “Field Trip” – A group of teenage superheroes are being shown around the Fortress of Solitude when they inadvertently cause the phantom zone projector to trap Superman and release three Kryptonian criminals.
Saturday, May 20: “Rage of the Red Lanterns” – Chased by the Red Lanterns, Lobo seeks sanctuary with the Justice League. As the League attempts to stave off the Red Lanterns, Lobo reveals the real reason he wants shelter in the Watchtower, he wants access to a powerful space weapon being held by our heroes.
Saturday, May 27: “Freezer Burn” – Batman and Firestorm team up to fight their respective cold villains, Mr. Freeze and Killer Frost. Complications arise when Firestorm’s infatuation for the wily Ms. Frost gets the best of him.
Saturday, June 3: “Double Cross” – Batman has Plastic Man disguise himself as Two-Face in order to set a trap for Deadshot. Unfortunately things get complicated when the real Two-Face escapes custody.
Garden of Evil
was the first episode that disappointed me. I don't really like this version of Poison Ivy.
Swamp Thing is my favourite hero in this show (together with Green Arrow), but he couldn't really do much in this episode and the other heroes didn't do much special either.
Definitely the weakest episode out of the 23 I've seen so far.
Mod Note: Spoiler tags added. This episode hasn't officially aired yet in the US on Cartoon Network.
Jason J. Lewis also recorded this week.
It's not much but I noticed this Tweet from Tanner Johnson, mentioning he regrets he didn't get to work on an episode with Mister Miracle for Justice League Action.
This doesn't necessarily mean the character won't show up - it might be in an episode Johnson didn't work on. I checked and he's credited as a storyboard artist for "Under a Red Sun", which might explain the Barda action scene he mentions he did for an episode.
No argument there as far as Scott and Barda are concerned .
Mister Miracle has a design, and while that doesn't necessarily confirm a major appearance (like in the case of Cheetah), I do think it's reasonable enough to assume we'll still see him at some point .
Maybe in the episode featuring Darkseid's proper debut ?
I forgot Mister Miracle's design was on the Comic-Con poster. I'm guessing at least Granny Goodness would be featured, more so if they have a flashback or something to his origin, like on Justice League Unlimited.
Looks like the schedule might have changed again, both Zap2It and TV Guide list two new episodes for June 3rd.
"Inside Job" at 7:30 AM
"The Trouble With Truth" at 7:45 AM
Two exclusive new episodes in June would be nice .
Yeah, it would help to make up for that break we got.
Don't worry, CN will change what airs at least two more times.
As long as we keep getting new episodes, I'm good .
Jason J. Lewis tweeted a photo of himself, along with Michael Dorn and Armin Shimerman, after the recording of "Rage of the Red Lanterns". (Apparently the episode was recorded in April 2015)
Boy is Michael Dorn tall .
Or Armin and Jason are short.
"The Trouble With Truth" sounds like it might have something to do with Wonder Woman's lasso.
Can I ask a quick question about "Garden of Evil":
Is Harley Quinn in it? According to wikipedia, she is, though it might be wrong about that.
