Which is a shame, because I think this show can easily become a huge hit if they tried hard enough, possibly even eclipsing TTG in popularity.

And yet they still treated this show a lot better than Beware the Batman. Go figure.

The announcement is not the issue, nor is CN at this point.

The issue is that actors/producers have now actively acknowledged WB not asking for a second season. I have no doubt that the crew is wrapping up or has wrapped up the last few episodes of season one, so they should have gotten a renewal quite a while ago (that is, IF they wanted to maintain momentum and retain the same people behind the scenes).

CN clearly didn't want Be Cool. Scooby Doo! but WB ploughed ahead with another 26 episodes, so the question is, what's the hold up with Justice League Action?

Don't lose hope yet people. As long as they don't declare it cancelled, there will always be a chance for it to get renewed for another season. They renewed Total Drama 3 years after its last episode aired in 2014.

I have a feeling this show will be replaced in favor of a new JL Show after the Movie comes out. Cause this Show was made in awareness of the Movie in November.

You'd think that would give them more incentive to keep this show around .

That's because BCSD had a two season pick up while JLA only had one. The other WB shows got saved because they were doing well internationally. I guess JLA isn't doing well enough overseas if it hasn't gotten a second season yet.

The strange thing is, I feel like CN overall treated JLA better than Wabbit, BCSD, or Bunnicula. The release schedule was consistent and easy to follow, and their social media did prominently mention it from time to time.

Renewed or not, the loss of the show would be upsetting. I really don't know who's in control of the show's future, Warner or CN, but I really do hope they come to a decision soon. It's not like I want the show to be cancelled, I'm just very uncertain, and following certain patterns concerning past DC shows...Things ain't looking their brightest.

It's likely CN though. The same reason TTGo is on despite it being DC related, it's a Comedy.

Any decision to cancel the show would be Cartoon Network's to make. However, WB Animation would likely still have the option to shop it around, though it would be a simple matter to add it to the line up on the new streaming service.

I think if we see Justice League Action move to the DC streaming service then we can definitely take it as an indication that WB is going to use it as a resource for launching DC cartoons without needing Cartoon Network.

^That seems to be the way most Studios and television networks are going. I predicted this in college back when time warner had the ESPN dispute.

I don't think my vision is complete just yet. I wanted to basically have everyone make and design their own channels. If you want cartoons or classic t.v. shows in the morning, action adventure stuff in the afternoon, horror or mysteries in the evening, you just pull up your picks whenever you were ready.

You would've thought the idea would've come from the actual Superman Red and Blue story, but I guess not .
Hmm...I wonder if Green Arrow was still in it or if he ended up replacing Booster :)?

This interview is from summer at the San Diego Comic-Con, but I don't remember it being mentioned here. Butch Lukic mentions at 2:23 they made about 22 Justice League Action shorts - so only half were released so far. Jim Krieg also says at 1:47 some upcoming episodes with Plastic Man will feature lots of animals from DC Comics. The entire interview is pretty entertaining and informative.

Now I guess the only question is when they'll release the rest of the shorts...

I'm guessing that Plastic Man episode will feature the return of Krypto and Ace, as well as Streaky and some other Super-Pets ;).

Completely out of the blue. ;)

Hmm, Legion of Super-Pets would be pretty fun. It would be hilarious if Plas discovers the Legion has been operating in secret fighting crime and no one in the JL believes him.
