I was hoping Warner Archive would give us a Blu-Ray to go along with this. Perhaps if this sells well, we'll get one with 52 episodes.

Zap2It confirms "Boo-ray for Bizarro" for August 19th. And as mentioned before, the new timeslot is 7:00AM.

I imagine it's on the docket for a 2018 release. Would be great if it included all the online shorts but unlikely.

EDIT: Heath Corson is the writer of "Booray for Bizarro".

With the Season 1 Part 1 DVD coming in a couple of months, I wonder if a Season 1 Part 2 set is a given or whether it'll be a complete season set next year instead. I know there's been some discussion of a complete season set a few posts above, so that's why I'm asking.

Who better to write an episode starring Bizarro then the guy who wrote the Bizarro mini-series ;)?

I expect the DVD releases will be part 1/2 only, like recent DVD releases of other series (Teen Titans Go!).

Hopefully we will eventually see a Blu-ray release of the complete season 1 through Warner Archive in the future.

Season 1 Part 2 and a season 1 Blu-ray will probably come out in the first half of next year. January/February and April maybe.

1st Clip - Seeing Flash's response to Wonder Woman's "Date" kind'a calls back to a certain quote from the original JL cartoon.

2nd Clip - Who voices Amazo?!

I'm guessing this is a Founding Members meeting given we have all the classic Justice League founders here except Aquaman ;).

Green Lantern! Too bad he still doesn't get any lines apparently .
    Thomas Lennon :).

It's great to see Hal in more than a cameo (finally!), but his black hair is still throwing me off. If there's a second season, maybe they can make it brown? It's one thing to change the hair color, but it's too reminiscent of Kyle Rayner to me.

Also, interestingly, we have Travis Willingham voicing Bizarro instead of Jason J. Lewis, despite the fact that the voice of Superman generally also plays Bizarro whenever he appears :).

Maybe Lewis voices so many characters already, including General Zod, that they didn't want to do the obvious and have him voice Superman's clone :p?

Yeah, I was expecting Lewis to voice Bizarro as well. It might have been an obvious choice but I think it would have been pretty funny. Regardless, Travis Willingham does a good job with this role so I can't really complain, just surprised that's all.

Fun Fact: Travis Previously voiced Bizzaro in Lego Batman 2. Now, he's pretty much what I envisioned. Recoome from DBZ.

    Thomas Lennon.

And where he also voiced Superman ;).

So, technically, we do have a Superman VA voicing Bizarro, just Lego Superman instead of JLA Superman :p.
