Ah man, and it's a really fun one too .

Well, at least it's still on their web-service and on-demand and will hopefully air on TV at some point :).

And hopefully we can look forward to these August episodes airing and being on the service as well ;).

Honestly, let's face it, the latter's pretty inevitable.

Well, at least as a pessimist you are more likely to be pleasantly surprised than disappointed.

My thoughts exactly. Assuming the worst means life's pleasant surprises have more impact to them.

Mm, correction, looks like just a one week bump so Booster's Gold on August 12 and so on to the Sid Sharp one being September 9.

At the risk of seeming to be too much of an optimist I believe most CN shows, even the ones they treat pretty crummily or stealth cancel, get at least 2 seasons so we may at least get one more out of Justice League Action :).

Worst comes to worse DC could also move it to their new streaming service ;).

Though if we get a second season I also hope we get more shorts out of it :anime:.

Maybe I'm basing it too much off of Marvel's deal with Disney but I'm surprised a second season wasn't already worked out. Marvel usually has the second season of any of its properties already written out before episodes of season 1 drop.

Well, CN is definitely a wholly different beast from Disney .

I'm calling it now - 'The Cube Root' is probably the Riddler episode.

I'd be a bit surprised if the series doesn't get a second season in a way. I don't know if shows that are close to cancellation typically get a panel at Comic Con, especially when I'm not sure if the series is all that popular to begin with. With the way Cartoon Network treats the show, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't pick it up, but DC could potentially just put it on their streaming service.

Uh...I guess a slightly later timeslot is a good thing? Maybe means more kids can check it out ?

Leafing through old notes looks like the remaining characters left to appear that we know of are:
    1. Trickster
    2. Granny Goodness
    3. Riddler
    4. Captain Cold - moot since he appeared in title sequence
    5. Reverse Flash - moot since he appeared in title sequence
    6. Dr. Light - moot since he appeared in title sequence
    7. Bane - moot since he appeared in title sequence
    8. Amazo
    9. Bernadeth
    10. Sinestro - moot since he appeared in title sequence
    11. Vandal Savage (?) - speculated on poster
    12. Kalibak
    13. Supergirl
    14. Mr. Terrific
    15. Mr. Miracle
    16. Huntress
    17. The Question - speculated on poster
    18. Elasti-Girl - speculated on poster
    19. Hawkgirl speculated on poster
    20. Green Lantern Corps
    21. Dr. Light
    22. Krypto
    23. Streaky
    Oh, come on!!

The new timeslot is actually half an hour earlier...

    Bane hasn't appeared yet, either.

I think the character we thought might be Question turned out to be John Constantine. And the speculated Vandal Savage design might have been Virman Vundabar (2nd row, first two on the left)

It's interesting to wonder if the characters still remaining from the intro will actually appear in the show proper of if they saved some of them for the shorts like Cheetah and Star Sapphire :ack:.

Although Shane didn't confirm Star Sapphire wouldn't appear in season 1 like he did Cheetah so I think it might be possible she'll appear in a Lantern Corps. heavy episode alongside the GL's and, presumably, Sinestro .
CN's terrible treatment of DC cartoons just continue to boggle the mind .
    Oh darn .

I think the female character in the middle is the only character we can't really make out now. I remember somebody speculating it might be Lois Lane, because it looks like a civilian character and she's the only one who I could see being prominent along the other heroes o_O.

Also interesting to see that Hawkman was a little more armored in his sketch design...

Ok, correct if I'm wrong - but doesn't the Arthur Light/Dr. Light appear in the title sequence in the background before Grundy then Glines released the Kimiyo/Dr. Light design on his FB. Hmm, could be interesting if there's a battle of Lights story... JLA would be the first in animation to address that I think.

August's episodes are now available on CN's website, App, and On-Demand.

    The episodes available include:

    Boo-Ray for Bizarro
    Best Day Ever
    The Cube Root
    Superman's Pal, Sid Sharp
You mean the figure above Sinestro and across from Steppenwolf? Could be (white costume, cape)...

I also think the top figure in the background in-between Steppenwolf and that character is supposed to be Circe.

Yeah, that definitely looks like the Arthur Light version of Doctor Light in the opening credits. But the Kimiyo Hoshi version was also used on a poster for the show, if I remember correctly, so it might mean she has a better chance at appearing in an episode.

I might've known that I'd be wrong about "The Cube Root". Glad that it's going to feature Mr. Terrific's debut though. I wonder if Brainiac will be one of the 'brainiest villains' featured.

Cube Root: Yeah, I'd guess Brainiac and Riddler.

Glines also posted her character design back in January.
