What I mean is there are the songs in cartoons that actually have a meaning & are good quality while also being well-written

(e.g My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Phineas and Ferb, Steven Universe, SpongeBob SquarePants, etc)

    Then there's...

Teen Titans Go & The Looney Tunes Show!

    notice a commonality?

    Answer:

They're both modern cartoons by Warner Bros!

If you were to compare a song from TTG to any song from one of the shows I mentioned above (or even a grown-up cartoon like Family Guy) you would notice a BIG difference right away!

    My question is:

Why is there so much of a discrepancy between good-quality songs & bad-quality songs in cartoons?

Also I would have mentioned most songs from pre-school cartoons as being bad but those are kinda meant to be simplistic crap!

(for lack of a better term)
