how can i get started developing my own games?

    i want to develop my own indie games but idk how or where to start!

    can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction?

    You can always download a game engine and get used to how it works.

    Here's a big list of them. Many of them are actually free, although there may be charges for plugins and other things.

    If you're a total beginner, you might want to learn the basics with Stencyl or GameMaker.
    If you want something a little more advanced, go with Unreal or Unity (those two are pretty much the gold standard).

    @Daikun is right. Those really are your best bets. They are well documented, free, have a large community, receive updates and they work. Depends on what kind of game you have in mind @Mikurotoro92, what experience you already have and how many people you want to involve.
