Pak asking out Chase was surprising. Even more surprising was him accepting, but she was quite persistent. And Foreman, Foreman Foreman. Getting involved with a married woman is nothing but trouble. But damn, she was tempting so I can understand. The House and Wilson shenanigans were fun as usual.

This was a tense one, and had quite the surprise halfway through.I knew something along those lines was going to happen based on the previews, but it was still well done. The only disappointing thing was the ending, and the show's refusal to shake up the status quo TOO much. Yes, this episode did shake it up, but it's something that may be undone before long. And could House finally be feeling legitimate remorse? Let's hope.

Although there has been speculation about it since the season began, today it's official. House is ending at the end of this season.

Probably for the best. I still like House but it's been spinning its wheels for about 4 seasons now( arguably longer than that ) even though there were a number of times where it looked like they were gonna shake things up only to pull the rug out at the last minute.

Hmmmm... I haven't been watching House for over a year now. I loved it intensely for the first few years, then when it began to go downhill I stayed loyal, enjoyed the occasional really good episode, but at the beginning of season 7 I had this epiphany: I hated the show. Really, it was like a love/hate switch had been flipped. The only opinions I had about it were various things I think went wrong with it. I felt that the characters had no integrity and were being forced to do whatever random idea the writers had at that moment.

It was about then that I discovered that Cartoon Network had become awesome again and I started watching Adventure Time and Regular Show on Mondays. The years long tradition I had of appointment television, watching House on Monday nights, soon... faded... from... memory.

    I love Hugh Laurie.
    House is a great character.
I did the talkback for pilot episode.
But I started dropping off by the end of first season and pretty much stopped watching by the middle of the second.

Medical shows are kind of a tough sell for me, and this one likes to play up the grossness.
Scrubs was the last medical show I watched regularly, but that focused more on laughs.

I did start watching again at the beginning of this season when he was in jail. I liked the new cast members. But I just started tuning out mid episode again without going back.
Maybe I'm the only one who would have liked the show better if he had become a physicist.

I did like the whole detective aspect though.

I have loved House ever since someone threw on the first season dvd on the bus of my high school senior trip. I was hooked after the first episode and so glad that I had been introduced to this cynical doctor. Maybe I am one of the rare few here (or anywhere) who has consistently enjoyed House throughout its run, but I will indeed be sad to see the show end. Granted, some seasons were probably better than others but I have always enjoyed the story and the story of the characters through these eight seasons. I would say that House is indeed one of my favorite shows of all time, certainly one of the best medical dramas I've ever seen. I have many of the seasons on DVD and intend to acquire the rest. Hopefully the remainder of this season will leave us with more memorable moments, and I do hope the finale is at least somewhat satisfying (and won't maybe make me feel like maybe they should have ended it with House crashing his car through Cuddy's house).

As far as this latest episode, I had skimmed over something calling it "traumatic" and there was a point where I was like "...oh crap, Chase has not been answering ANY of these questions..." and truthfully I was surprised by his exact injury and thought the episode was overall well done. Glad to see Chase didn't well, die.
