It was shortened, but it aired.
As I just said, they should air Moment and Believe, they're the cleanest.
Stll an OP...I want to hear Matt's point of view on this...
Since it hasn't aired in my kneck of the woods yet, when did the OP begin and end (I'm asuming this is INVOKE).
Well, it obviously wasn't a mistake since it was shortened and the Toonami opening didn't air...
It started with the title and showed some scenes from the intro with some credits. The music wasn't the full version.
Missed it. But considering it's shortened, is that the new format?
Omg, i just saw the Gundam Seed intro 12 minutes ago (6:30). It was hecka shortened, but they still showed it. After the DBGT ending, they just zoomed into Gundam Seed without even showing the intro made by Toonami. It was in japanese. So, cool !!
I take it "wink wink, nudge nudge" wasn't there then. Fine by me.
Nope. I think the scene where the Gundam is coming out of the ship was taken from the other intro.
Oops! Not 6:30, 7:30!!
That would be a bit odd...
As thats Freedom Gundam and not Strike Gundam
I liked the opening. The song was a nice choice. The music to the series is awesome.
That was excellent! I'm glad WS may have finally decided to take advantage the original intro since it's so dang catchy.
First japanese opening on Toonami, am I right? Second for a Toonami show (We got G Gundam's on SVES).
Assuming the Japanese intros that were used as endings on Toonami are not counted, yes.
Yeah. And not counting Japanese openings that were made in english (.hack//sign). I should have said "japanese language" openings in that post...but then there's Teen Titans, which isn't a japanese series...
Well, this was unexpected. Certainly a welcome development; I wonder if this will hold constant or if it'll change yet again. You never know--first a custom intro, then one with credits, and now this. Its almost like they're experimenting week to week.
Oh, and that pose is taken from the first and second opening, and its Strike doing it.
Pretty good way to play the song too..instead of starting from the beginning and cutting it off midway, they start and then skip to the final segments of the song. It comes off quite seamless.
While I know some folks might not like this idea, if they don't have time for both the original intro and the Toonami intro, my hope would be that they alternate them each week. Thus, everyone could see what they want some of the time and it would add some variety to the intros as well.
