So, there's a reluctance to (LEGITIMATELY) do Robin in a live action Batman, most likely for the rest of my life. Yet they'll (LEGITIMATELY) do Robin's parents in a live action Batman? Who appear in the show's FIRST season. Why no reluctance twards Robin in this case?

And doesn't giving the Joker a back story defeat the purpose of the character? His origins are supposed to be a mystery, and if he more or less actually IS the Joker in this time period, charged with murder, and sent to jail, isn't it less likely that he'll actually become the Joker years later at the chemical plant? Something tells me somewhere down the line it will be revealed that this isn't the person who would become the Joker, or they'll subtly reveal he broke out of jail and never be seen or heard from again in the rest of this show. At least this means he isn't the Red Hood next week, or the Wayne's killer. Or this guy eventually becomes a new Red Hood somewhere in the future.

Ah, nice to see Bruce showing the finger to the board members. Their patronizing was so thinly veiled I was hoping Bruce would leave them with a real stinger at the end.

In the books, we don't know the Joker's real name, so the creative staff here are creating an alias for him, if Jerome is meant to grow up to become the Joker. Tim Burton did the same thing, you'll recall.

Now Bruce gets to be Richie Rich. Meh.

5 episodes left before the season ends. Gotham will be pre-empted on 3/2 for the season debut of The Following. Barring other pre-emptions, the season will end at the end of March. Real swift.
