Really looking forward to this.
Horrifying universe but the trailer was well worth the wait. Scary red skies, check. CW heroes in Nazi outfits, check.
Red Tornado giving his memory to The Ray made me think of New Hope.
I just saw the trailer on YouTube and I thought it looked really cool. We finally get an Earth in the Arrowverse where Green Arrow, Flash and Supergirl coexist but they're all Nazis. What a twist of fate. I really liked that whole sequence of Freedom Fighters vs SuperNazis and I'm really looking forward to this. Vixen wasn't as fully captivating as I would have hoped for but I really like seeing them take chances with web animation. I hope the rest of this series feels as strong as this.

Nice trailer. It seems it's Red Tornado's destiny to die at Kara's hands.
Is that version of Black Condor supposed to be John Trujillo? He has the mohawk and face paint but the skin tone suggests he's different.
Makes me wonder if James Tucker's involved in some capacity (directing/producing) this.
He's credited with producing for Vixen, so he just might be for this as well.

He also directed the first season of Vixen as well.
I found it interesting that we didn't see Uncle Sam leading the Freedom Fighters here. I wonder if he's more mission control in this universe?
7/24: With Nazis dominating the world, figures he would be a more Oracle-like role. No feelings to power up on.
7/26: Saw this article on CW's Twitter feed. Revealed some things:
The AU Arrow, Flash and Supergirl's team is called the Reichsmen.
Stephen Amell will voice the Arrow equivalent, Grant Gustin as The Flash equivalent, and Melissa Benoist will voice Supergirl’s evil doppelganger.
The Ray in this continuity also has a personal reason to fight the Nazis; he is a gay man and thus would be targeted by the Nazis for death.
Earth X was part of the DC's Multiverse until Crisis on Infinite Earths
This digital series comes out this Fall.
Good to have it confirmed that the Arrowverse leads will be reprising their roles as their Nazi counterparts .
Now I'm curious who's playing Ray and the other Freedom Fighters...and if they got Iddo Goldbero back for Red Torando's one line ?
Turns out, unlike Vixen....he's not involved this time around.
Noticed Bourassa commented in an instagram post he thinks the shorts will be collected into a 70 minute movie.
That sounds like the two seasons of Vixen combined. It will be awesome if they made that much.

I guess the two seasons of Vixen as a movie worked out well .
Pretty cool news. It's not official yet, I guess, but it's certainly a possibility going by what happened with Vixen.
If the movie format will have any extra scenes, maybe Ray will fight a Nazi gorilla or something.
From out-of-nowhere comes David Sobolov as Nazi Gorilla Grodd .
*a classic story about a normal guy who gets superpowers, with all the complications and wish fulfillment that entails
*The Ray will have a love interest too, but, "in true superheroic fashion, his obligations are a complication for his love life"
*In Multiversity #7, Grant Morrison came up with an idea we really responded to: The Freedom Fighters are made up of various minorities targeted by Nazis—women, gay men, Jews. We wanted to honor that idea. At the same time, it’s an origin story about the Earth-1 iteration of The Ray
*Supergirl’s Melissa Benoist as Overgirl, the Earth-X version of the Girl of Steel
*Expect some lighthearted superheroic fun
*Guest appearances by Cisco, Mr. Terrific and Vixen
All this fun, wish-fullfillment, adventuring and classic Superheroics seems at odds with this series' premise and universe. Not that I mind, but still .
I'm curious if Ray's love interest will be an official DC character or an original. The Arrowverse Mr. Terrific is gay so maybe this universes Curtis will be his love interest ?
I'm guessing Cisco, Terrific, and Vixen will all be involved in the Freedom Fighters fight against the Nazi's. I wonder if they got all their actors back (and which Vixen we're getting) ?
Huh, so this is the origin of Earth-1's Ray? So is he not native to the Freedom Fighter's Earth or does the Ray get teleported to Earth-1? Are there two Ray's who stories we follow concurrently ?
By Earth-1, he means Ray Terrill. So the Ray in this show is based on the Earth-1 comic book Ray Terrill. He doesn't mean Earth-1 of the of Arrowverse. I think this show draws from the Mastermen issue is the one Guggenheim alludes to. Overgirl's in it.
TV Line reports, Russell Tovey has been cast as the Ray.
As previously mentioned he'll both voice the character in this animated show, and play the same role in one of the live-action shows set in the "Arrowverse".
He's set to appear in this year's crossover event, airing November 27-28, so I presume the show might start before that date.
