Summer time is pretty much here, so break out any and all films that you would want to check out for the first time or revisit. Nominations will be considered up until around Friday the 18th. On Saturday the 19th I will post the selection thread to choose which film to watch.

So break out as many films as you can. Don't forget if you ever nominated something before and it didn't go through, then post it up again.

The late 70's version of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (the one starring Donald Sutherland).

So, we got about a week or so to go, so you folks still got time for nominations. Also feel free to toss in another nom if you have already.

I'm going to nominate Memento, the early Christopher Nolan effort. I only saw this film once surprisingly, and that was when it first came out for rental.

Okay, just as a reminder the nominations phase will end on Good Friday, the 18th. So any stragglers get in your films to watch or revisit for discussion.

Since there is a Lester cut and a Donner cut of the same movie it should be fun to talk about.

Because a certain X-Men director is in the news...for a second nomination (if you want one), I nominate "Apt Pupil". I saw it years ago, but would be interested in revisiting it.

I personally believe Brad Renfro was molested on several occassions, as were many other child stars in Hollywood. Some of them basically got addicted to drugs to ease the pain. Yeah, this whole Singer thing makes me queasy.
