So now that reviews are out, and considering how negative they are (Much worse than we even expected even)-- PLEASE give the rights back to Marvel!

Marvel may not even be interested in doing Fantastic Four. It's a tainted product at this point. I didn't realize how poorly the previous two were reviewed, 27% and 37% respectively on Rotten Tomatoes.

If Marvel do get back the film rights to the Fantastic Four it'll have way more value to Marvel then it does Fox.

It'll have more value for bringing Doom into the fold and finally having another villain who is interesting/entertaining outside of Loki

So the current RT score for this film is on the same level as Sandler's Pixels. Dang. The reviews are harsh; basically any complaint you can think up, I've seen:

No chemistry between four leads (apparently it's rare to see all four in a scene together), pacing issues (I've heard it get compared to Ang Lee Hulk film, too much build up, not much action), lame climax, and a Dr. Doom who apparently is about as developed as ASM2's Harry.

I'm gonna see the film this week, but yikes.

The reviews I've read have said the cast was fine, but the writing failed it. Anyway, I'm looking forward to Marvel's Fantastic Four and Untitled Spider-Man Movie 2 headlining MCU Phase 4.

It has gotten even worse, and now sits at 12% after 26 reviews. One Youtube review I've seen has been quite popular, from Chris Stuckmann (some language in the review video):

My favorite part of the review is right at the beginning, when he does a SNL Celebrity Jeopardy-like mispronunciation of the movie title, as "Fant-Four-Stic(k)," all because of the promotional poster with the "4" in the middle. It is as though the title of the movie cannot be "Fantastic Four." He continues to use it throughout the review, and most of it summarizes what the other reviewers have said.

I wish he had kept his notes closer to the camera.

At 7% on RT now. The 3 fresh reviews could be a majority of the positive reviews it's ever going to get.

Wow, and my best expectations for this were that it would actually be a serviceable or good movie while failing as a Fantastic Four movie, but reviews seem to indicate it doesn't even do that much .

Now I have to wonder if Fox will continue with a sequel or their idea of doing a crossover with the X-Men just to keep the rights and despite the string of negative reviews for the movie. Or will they finally just relent and give the rights back to Marvel?

When it was at 9% I told my sister that this doesn't just rank it among the worst comic movies ever made, but one of the worst movies ever made at that score. And now it's at 7% That's worse than Catwoman....CATWOMAN!

Edit. Ok I see its at 9% currently. Still that makes it on par with Catwoman...CATWOMAN!
