Oh, thanks for reminding me of this show. xD
On Feb 22 it seems that new episodes (to the US at least) will premiere on Disney XD according to Zap2it. Just wanted to note that.
EDIT: Well it seems like I'm late. Whoopsie. Ah well.
The next episodes were pretty sweet/enjoyable, both The Burg of Lar, The Defeat of Glory, The Mall of Doom, The Breaker of Oaths, The Keeper of Toe, The Star of Gold, and The Brothers of Battle are easily my favorite epic episodes.
Both Patti, Ms. Gillian, Fred Bone, Cid, Hammerscab, and Wargrunt, awesome characters ever, love Patti/Ms. Gillian's major focuses on more of their characters in The Mall of Doom/The Star of Gold, love both Cid/Hammerscab who are so cool/interesting to becoming great new anti-heroine allies like Peridot/Lapis.
Both The Evil Toe, The Shadowsteppers/their boss, Will, Wargrunt, the evil hamster, and Borg/Toothbreaker my favorite awesome interesting new villains, Bill's evil side Will was amazing/enjoyable, the Evil Toe being the true major mastermind villainess was great/surprising.
Venomous Drool's past was great/interesting, I pity Venomous Drool which he has a reason to want to destroy the barbarians.
I'll so enjoy a Season 2 for it, next to Seasons 2 of Atomic Puppet, SuperMansion, and Trollhunters. If there's no Season 2, I'll miss it.
Since the brave barbarian will come back to the US tomorrow, has Disney XD made any promos this time around?
Where do you get this from?

Fangbone has officially aired on Canal J in France.
I like Fangbone, but it just seems like another acquisition Disney XD has quickly lost interest in. Just something they want to fill in air time. Like Atomic Puppet.
I wish Disney XD cared about their non-anime acquisitions...
Me too, superkeegan.
Fangbone! (and Atomic Puppet) deserve far more love and respect then they have, in terms of their treatment by the corporate brass. Damn shame that both are just acquisitions. At least they're good, compared to what we usually get. That can't be stressed enough.
It sort of makes me wonder why they still acquire shows like Fangbone, unless it's just to fill up space. I mean in recent years, the kids networks have been more about airing the content they own or produce, so it makes me wonder why a Cartoon Network or Disney XD still want to do acquisitions at all.
I think Fangbone's got a lot going for it. Maybe it's not an original concept, Conan the Barbarian/He-Man-type character dealing with mundane issues of real world, but I think Fangbone does it in an appealing way and the characterizations are highly likable and amusing. Like that gag where Fangbone punished his leg for not obeying him.
This show will be airing on CITV in the UK starting April 3rd.

And to think I thought it would air on Kix...
I wonder Radio-Canada would air it in Quebec April 8th or 9th, or this Fall. I think it either redub it in Quebec or just the one in France that aired on Canal J.
What's a Kix? Is it a crappy cereal?
No. It's a (mostly) cartoon channel owned by Sony Pictures Television.
While Canal J started showing Fangbone! in France two weeks ago, the Italian channel K2 (which originally began as a syndicated Fox Kids/Jetix block on local stations in Italy) actually aired it at the start of that week (March 13th), along with the Lego animated series Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, so K2 was the first channel in Europe to air the show AFAIK, instead of Canal J.
Fangbone will have the streaming rights to Netflix worldwide. Along with deals with other channels (Besides Canal J, ABC Me, CITV, K2), Gulli in France, MBC3 in the Middle East, Ultra in the former Yugoslavia, Zoom in Israel, and Canal Panda in Portugal.
