So this is the second film we've heard that's in development post Katzenberg and post new management (the other that was announced this year was an adapation of the not yet released book The Wizards of Once, from the author of How to Train Your Dragon).

So far, it doesn't seem bad....of course that's on the outside looking in. It seems that NBCUniversal wants to synergize the studio the best way they can.

As for the plot, seems heartwarming so far, doesn't scream a meh or a bad idea like Turbo or Shark Tale.

I dunno, monsters that are scared of kids? It's been done before. But I'm glad more than sequels are now on DW's plate.

True, but it does have the potential to be different and maybe dark.

Its premise doesn't sound like the most original thing in the world, but the co-production with Blumhouse does admittedly intrigue me, if only on the idea that we could get a family animated horror movie, an idea I wholeheartedly support.

Let's hope DreamWorks doesn't send this to the scrapyard! Just like The Croods 2 and Larrikins!

Wow, and looks like Croods 2 is going to happen after all.
