Aaaaand, Enchantress is in the driver's seat.

Beast Boy's plan with the butterflies is a nice call back to the webisode when they fought Ivy's count of control plant.

Makes sense Batgirl's plan would be to fight fire against fire but I'm not seeing what's going to prevent the art art from turning on them, too... most of the current animated art weren't bad in their stories.

Liked that Batgirl wasn't the ultimate solution and she had to turn to Frost and Ivy for help like in the webisode with the Kryptomites I think it was.

Happy to see Black Canary has reformed and has a solo album out. The Katana and fan team-up was pretty neat.

Dug seeing Craft of Warworld come up again. Heh.

Oh snap, that ending. Animated artwork of the likes of Doomsday, Starro, Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man, Stanley's Monster, and Creature Commandos!

It was pretty cool that June Moone's comic book was a take her character's origin story in the Strange Adventures #187 "The Enchantress of Terror Castle" down to Alan Dell and Dzamor. The title of this issue is even a nod to the comic. And spent essentially a whole issue on her origin with just 3 issues left in the series. It was intriguing to see Dale mention "The Rothschilds" - I can't remember if that was in the SA comic, too, or a nod to a more recent Batman villain, Sebastian Blackspell, whose real surname was Rothschild.

There was something amusing about Alan and June - the really corny lines like 'don't be a fuddy-duddy', the terrible jokes, his friends being ill-informed about current events - I wonder if there's an in-joke there.

Neat seeing the JLA cover homage with Starro.

Pretty cool meta moment with Supergirl taking about invulnerability in her power listing in the yearbook. In the Yearbook that came out, it indeed is, on page 10.

Ha ha, a teacher's red pen. Loved Harley's "As some old English dude once said...."

That was pretty cool to watch Harley use some psychology to defeat Enchantress and help Moone. More so Harley admitting she wants to go into the profession and some green haired kid teasing her in her preschool years. heh.

Always a nice callback when Supergirl invokes Barbara's "believe in your super self" mantra. Also neat to see a version of Dr. Arkham debut in this canon after he's appeared in the Yee novels. A small caveat but it seemed like the door is open for Katana to get into some adventures with Black Canary when she's not busy with her solo career as a pop star.

Ok, so it starts out with Cruz being at SSH for only 2 weeks and Hal is finishing his training on Oa.

And everyone seems to have their pets; Supergirl has Krypto, Batgirl has Ace (not seen), Harley has Calliope Monkey, Kanga is mentioned -- and Wildcat is over it, lol.
