How about a movie based on DC Bombshells?

It's a glorious story about feminism, social politics, romance, emotion and comradery, and it has fun with it to; that's something I highly recommend other people to read, particularly if their into feminism or just alternate universes, and particularly ones with atypical history.

I can see that, especially if Best DC Cosmic Character, Lobo shows up

It has been reported that Adam West passed way on Friday, June 9 after a battle with leukemia. I posted my reaction to this sad news in the Caped Crusaders vs. Two-Face thread. However, that got me thinking about related matters that didn't feel right to bring up there at this time.

What I was wondering was: Should there be any more Caped Crusaders/Batman '66 animated movies? And, if so, who should voice the lead? I think that there could be more, and I nominate Diedrich Bader as Adam West's successor based on his work on Batman: The Brave and the Bold. He might not be a close match for West's voice, but he has the blend of comic and action elements down pat.

I also wonder if Bader's stint as the Caped Crusader is in danger of being overshadowed by Will Arnett's performances as the Brick Knight.

Not a chance. With West gone, it's best to leave Batman '66 alone for a while. It's legacy is strong and its wonderful Adam got to experience the resurgence of popularity over the last few years.

It would be no fun without Adam.

Yeah, I think I'm comfortable with knowing that we were able to get two Batman '66 movies out with Adam West reprising the role. It just wouldn't be the same without him :(.

And it gives the DC Classics Line the opportunity to work on other classic series ;).

Saddened to hear of Mr. West's passing. Even though he was an elder statesman, it looked like he was healthy and fit to go another 20 years. Rest in peace, Bright Knight.

I agree they shouldn't recast it if there's more movies in the works. I read there is a Batman '66/Wonder Woman '77 comic where it jumps around and Dick has taken over as Nightwing and Bruce retired. Maybe they could pull off a similar time skip story.

EDIT: Jim Krieg and Gary Miereanu confirmed there are more Burnett-produced DC DTVs still in the pipeline.

IDK, with the success of Wonder Woman in theaters, they should be greenlighting Wonder Woman '77. The only hitch is getting Linda Carter involved.

Considering how far ahead things are in production, it's possible they're already making one.

Batman: Brave & The Bold should be revived as a reunion film series, but only if James Tucker, Michael Jelenic, Diedrich Bader, John DiMaggio & Will Friedle are all involved.

Much like DCAU, I don't really wanna see a revival of TBATB either. I wouldn't mind a few of those shorts, but not a film.

He could be counting DCU and other stuff like the Batman'66 ones, the past Vixen movie, etc.If so, 14 could be the Caped Crusaders vs. Two-Face for example. But if he's not, then 14 would be the last 2018 or first 2019 title. I think the latter.

On the possibly of some Elseworlds animation, Michael Uslan states:

    ''Stay Tooned''

I forgot something about Gotham by Gaslight had leaked. Perhaps it is next year's out of continuity film.

It's too short for a 75 movie.. would work great as a short of something like that!

Gotham by Gaslight did have a sequel, though, inspired by Jules Verne's Master of the World. The two stories combined could make up a single movie.

The sequel was a bit lackluster in my opinion, and it would make for a very weird movie... just my thoughts! A Gotham by Gaslight short or something similar would serve the story the best
