AVAILABLE NEXT WEEK - Buzzscope.com has previews of Marvel and DC Comics coming on December 28, including She-Hulk 2 #3 by Dan Slott and Juan Bobillo (Marvel); and Teddy Kristiansen's Solo #8 (DC), which contains a new Neil Gaiman short story. - Mile High Comics has several more Marvel previews for next week not included in the Buzzscope previews, including Amazing Fantasy #16 by Simon Furman and James Raiz and Black Widow 2 #4 by Robert K. Morgan, Sean Phillips, and Bill Sienkiewicz. AVAILABLE FURTHER IN THE FUTURE - Newsarama.com has a preview of Alias Comics' Lullaby #2, the new monthly series where Alice of Wonderland, the Pied Piper, Little Red Riding Hood, Jim Hawkins, and Pinocchio form a motley band dealing with a mysterious enemy that threatens them all. The book is due in comic book shops shortly. - Several previews for Marvel comics coming in January are available at Newsarama, including Daughters of the Dragon #1 and Son of M #2. - Newsarama also previews Peter Bergting's The Portent #1, coming from Image Comics in January. The comic promises to meld Norse and Chinese mythology to tell the tale of a mysterious warrior and his two companions. The first issue is due in February 2006. - An article about writer Tony Bedard and his new mini-series Retro Rocket comes with several preview pages and cover images. The 4-issue mini-series, starting in March 2006, is about an over-the-hill fighting robot facing the scrap heap, only to become humanity's last hope in the face of an alien invasion. - Also coming from Image in March is Rick Remender's remastered Doll and Creature, about a monster and a girl teaming up to fight a conspiracy involving drugs and more monsters. An interview with Remender contains several preview pages as well. - Buzzscope.com has previews for Marvel comics coming in March 2006, including Ms. Marvel #1 and Annihilation: Prologue. - Comic Book Resources.com has previews for DC Comics coming in March 2006, including Batman Annual #25 and Batman: Secrets #1. - Comic Book Resources also has a preview of The Grimoire #7 from Speakeasy Comics. The issue is the start for new writer Chris Stone and is an easy jumping on point for the series, which focuses on a teenaged girl grappling with her magical legacy with the help of an intelligent raccoon.
