Correct! Black Lightning was a DC character. Black Vulcan was not. You're up Domino!
In which comic book issue will you find Superboy's first appearance?
If you mean the post-Crisis Superboy, then "Adventures of Superman #500." (If you don't, then I haven't the foggiest)
I actually meant the "real" (original, pre-Crisis) Superboy, but I'll accept your answer because a) I didn't specify, and b) I don't think anyone will get it!
The Superboy I meant first appeared in More Fun Comics #101 (January/February 1945). You're up!
Hm, I didn't expect to get that one, so I'm a little off-guard. Here's an easy one:
True or false? Spider-Man once teamed up with the cast of Saturday Night Live to battle the Hand.
Spider-Man and the Not Ready for Prime Time Players teamed up in Marvel Team-Up #74. I don't know whether they fought the Hand or not, but I'll say true.
And now I'll say false, because that way I still get the answer right one way or another.
A strategem worthy of Machiavelli himself!
Spider-Man did indeed team up with Belushi and those other guys, but it was to do battle against the Silver Samurai.
Who are the founding members of the Avengers?
Iron Man, Wasp, Giant-Man, Thor, Hulk
According to Spider-Man: Chapter 1(ugh), how, and where, did Spider-Man get his powers, and who was also affected by the experience?
I'm sure that I'm getting this mixed up with Peter David's Spidey origin story, but...
Doctor Octavius was giving a radiation test at some college...NYU? He saw a spider on his tentacle, and flung it into the audience, where it bit Peter. That act caused Ock's experiment to blow up, also creating Doctor Octopus.
Am I in the ballpark?
You are indeed in the ballpark. It's your question Sean!
What's the birth name of Cassidy the vampire, of "Preacher" fame?
Well, there's not much I can offer in the way of clues.
Um...rhymes with "Broinsias"?
I had no clue, but a google search turned up Proinsias, which rhymes with Broinsias. So I'm guessing that's it?
That's exactly it. You're up.
In what comic book was the first appearance of Krypto? The pre-crisis version, please.
I thought I knew this and then I had to go back and do research. Well, I read it before but I couldn't remember the exact issue number. After looking through all the stuff I've read recently, I found it.
Adventure Comics #210 which came out in 1955. Pre-crisis enough for you?
